Today is Rosa Parks Day in Missouri! We remember the trials and triumphs of the "Mother of the Civil Rights Movement". This trailblazer advocacy for Civil Rights did not start or stop on December 1, 1955. She started working with her husband in 1932 for the 9 "Scottsboro" boys.

Today, I joined some committed fast food workers in downtown STL, who were protesting about their safety. They enjoy their jobs, but are worried about becoming crime victims. This was in front of the MacDonald’s on Tucker.
