I appreciate the enthusiasm of the developing country negotiators. It's easy to get exasperated by the injustices of climate finance.

I've been partly following the ongoing 9th technical expert dialogue on the new collective quantified goal on climate finance (#NCQG).

Little progress has been made, meaning that COP29 will be a battle over climate finance, just as #COP28 was over fossil fuel phaseout.

Many western climate advocates etc are ignorant or hypocritical when they approach climate policy in poor countries. Western countries provide minuscule climate finance but will claim a higher moral ground for climate action.

As someone who has lived for years in both Africa and Europe, some epistemic humility might help in interpreting your claim and the graphs.
