Finally, I thank all the co-authors who contributed essential parts to the story. It is beautiful to see all the parts coming together.

Over the moon to finally share my PhD work with you 🎉
We found that the chromatin reader SPIN1 is essential in transposon control and ensure the precision of DNA methylation.
It was such a joy working on it, I hope you enjoy the read!

Thanks to @CarrollDonal for giving me the opportunity to work on this exciting project. Also, a big thank you to Atlanta Cook and @AnsgarZoch for helping me along the way and getting the paper over the finishing line.
Very happy me receiving the news about winning the @SBSatEd community award runner up! I really enjoyed everything I did in my role as student representative and highly recommended everyone to get involved with @EdUniStudents.
What a week-I reached Lindau a week ago alone and full of anticipation for the week ahead. I learned so much at #LINO23, got to meet the brightest scientists in the world and made friends along the way. This will take some time to process but I am feeling more inspired than ever.
My personal highlight of #LINO23 so far was really inspirational and fun lunch with a 2018 Nobel Laureate @francesarnold 🌟and we even got a little gift of “Wolfird” representing a non-natural world of proteins with new functions created by directed evolution! @lindaunobel
The highlight after 3 days of #LINO23 was definitely listening and talking to Nobel Laureate @francesarnold! So much Inspiration and inspiring people to be found @lindaunobel
Traveling to Lindau really tested me today with an almost missed flight and my suitcase getting lost. But this view definitely makes up for it. Now I can't wait for #LINO23 to start tomorrow!
@IsaacFg12 The exact same thing happened to me today with KLM! Instead of preparing for #LINO23 I spend the afternoon getting a basic set of clothes and hygiene products together (which I had to pay out of my pocket of course 🥲)
Super excited to be working on a platform to educate Orphans about Orphan diseases as part of this year's #sciathon

Many thanks to our wonderful volunteers from across the BioQuarter who have been running our online STEM Clubs!
Well done also to all the children from @NiddrieMillPS, @PrestonfieldPS & @Castleview_PS who have done a great job with all the activities. Just one week to go!
