As we close out a busy week of @MadeleyAcademy@DofECentral Practice Expeditions, what have the students learned? 1.Rucksacks slow you down, 2.Navigation requires concentration, 3.Blister plasters work, 4.Wire wool cleans pans, 5.Morning admin takes a long time.
@OTD_Saracens Theo had a stormer. I don’t recall him making a mistake in the line out and he was tremendous going forward with the ball. The replacements all came on unexpectedly and just cracked on.
So what did the @MadeleyAcademy Y9 Bronze @DofECentral students learn today? 8 miles is a decent walk, Little Hill isn’t, teamwork is key, kissing gates are fun, navigation requires concentration, it’s a great feeling at the end.
@Posted_to_BAOR He looks as though he’s about to announce that although all the parading troops arrived at South Cerney 48 hours ago and are now finally on the buses ready for the transfer, he now wants them off the buses as the trains are postponed.

@TheUCS473 ….and this not meant as being disrespectful to the Guards but I have read and heard various accounts of the 5 Brigade exercise prior to deployment and of the Paras being handed some the worn out kit by the AMF battalion. I assumed there was some senior officer intervention….

I imagine most teachers have a nice easy one on the first day of the Easter holiday. Not this lot though. This crew from @MadeleyAcademy@madeley_sport thought it would be a good idea to walk 50 miles in 24 hours on the @ShropsHillsDC Shropshire Way 80k.
