@renesugar Darn it all! I was just looking up celebrex and it has a contraindication if I'm allergic to sulfa drugs, which I am. At least sulfa antibiotics I turned out to be very allergic to in my teens
That's so frustrating. 😟 Is there any variant of it?
@renesugar That's amazing information! I just sent it over to my UBC pharmacist.
I just finally finished the document to go along with the signed petition with its 1451 signatures(4 months that took). you've been so helpful & supportive here's the link to bookmark https://t.co/XungbKyCV0
New captcha scam. Be safe out there. If a #captcha asks you to punch in a bunch of letters especially with some other keys don't do it! See link

Today is #LongCovidAwarenessDay
Long Covid changed my life beyond recognition. I got ill. I never recovered. Lost my job. Became housebound. I rely on others to do things for me. I lie on my bed most of the day.
Watch the Guardian's short film about my life with #LongCovid 👇
It’s official!

It’s Long Covid Awareness Month and a good time to remind everyone that Covid is not over.
It’s still here, still disabling and still killing.
All it takes is one infection to change your life forever.
You never know when you could be disabled.
Wear a mask. Clean the air.
I was told that if 12 people write to a news source to ask for the same story that it will happen🤞

I suspect that this problem is more pervasive than one journal. As an editor, reviewer and author, I have come across academic dishonesty, plagiarism, favoritism, biases and misrepresentation of my own work in other people's papers. Just recently, I had two instances of authors citing my papers to support statements that they made that say the opposite of what my papers have said. When I tried to correct the error, the editor simply rejected my letter. Through this rejection, the editor didn't allow the authors an opportunity to correct their mistake. The scientific review process is broken!
The rejected letter is linked below:

This is your reminder to stop a moment & take care of you. So let's breathe together & take a moment to be kind to ourselves.
If the 3 steps feel too much to do- just take 3 deep breaths & say something kind to yourself. Be as encouraging to yourself as you would to a friend.
I'm approved for maid on quality of life due only to lack of #disability supports. BUT I continue to fight
A critical need is Liaising bodies. I proposed this in June 2026 #BCbudget & petition to my MLA, premier @Dave_Eby

@unMaskedRogue@hangryarchivist In an interview I was asked “do you think your mask will get in the way of work?” I’m not kidding. I said “no I think it’s the opposite. I think wearing this will keep me healthier so I’ll miss less work days from sickness” and he didn’t make eye contact after that lol
It saves the system absolutely massive, I mean truly truly massive amounts of money. Bias and logic have nothing to do with each other. Not fiscal, not human rights not medical logic. But unless and until the larger population is educated on this, & that's not going to happen 👇
