The major difference between being a full time artist vs. a full time librarian is that instead of patrons asking me questions they don't have answers to, I ask myself questions I don't have answers to. #saturdaylibrarian
@shaye_sic Absolutely. I have a disability that doesn't require a mobility aid, and didnt want to take a spot at ADA. To see others without the option, with aids, because of space is so incredibly exclusionary.
Food was not allowed in, so you needed to be in the lines to eat. Tension was high because basic human needs weren't able to be met adequately. Add in the typical show adrenaline + first time goers + poor safety measures + overselling + things I missed. No wonder. 7/
@RiotFest oh my god get better organization? security? so many injuries. this could've been another astroworld. the band graciously stopping after every song to make sure the crowd was okay is not their job. this was the worst display of malevolence I have seen at a concert. do better.
I am also someone with a disability who wanted to give ADA access spots to those with mobility aids, so it was tough for me in the crowd. @MCRofficial y'all still ripped, sending you all of the love you gave to us. #riotfest#chicago
Wrong tag in previous tweet, its 1:30 AM and I'm trying to hydrate 🙃 @MCRofficial thank you for taking care of us, give Juice a hug for me. I was past sound booth in the middle. We were being crushed from back and front of crowd, and your stepping in helped so much. 3/
