I just called my Dad and woke him up out of his sleep because I was having an anxiety attack and needed to talk about it to someone who cares and he got up from bed (so that he doesn’t wake my mom) and went to another room to talk to me and help my calm down.

We live in different states kills me. I’m learning that It’s okay to be homesick as an adult! it’s okay to talk about your mental health as an adult with your parents! you can still be an adult and want/need advice from your parents, they were your age once!
