People will assume you’ve never been through anything because you do not have a victim personality and your trauma is not your entire personality. We grow from tribulations over here, not pity ourselves.
one thing about me is i'm going to change my life. every time. wanted to get healthy and i did. wanted to get over it and i did. wanted to heal and i did. wanted my career back and i did. needed to change and i did. every time! literally nothing i can't do.
When he Bible says "do not lean on your own understanding," the Bible is being serious. Your heart is deceitful, your emotions fluctuate, your understanding does not see the overall, big picture. God never lies, God never changes, God knows all. Trust Him.
The Bible is so clear on how important it is to never look back. Not at an old position, an old ex, an old friendship, or even old ways that God has brought you out of. There are many people in the Bible but in clear words, God tells us to "remember Lot's wife"; who turned into a pillar of salt! Stuck in time. I pray that when you're tempted to "go back", the spirit of our living & loving God reminds you that you have to much to look forward to.
one thing i did this year that i’m so proud of? i kept going! in the midst of depression, chaos, change, spiritual warfare and everything in between I KEPT GOING. the tests are always for the testimony
Sometimes I accidentally accept the bare minimum trying to be mindful of what others have going on and that is a flaw that I need to let go expeditiously!
Until life officially ends, it still goes on. So I’m going to keep dreaming, keep hoping, keep going after everything I want. Everything else, it’s above me.
