We know the Ruto regime is broke, that one is no longer a debate, because every new policy now looks like Treasury searching under mattresses for money.
We know that even if they are handed Sh1 trillion from SACCOs, the same tender games will start, costs will balloon, projects will be revised, brokers will appear, and politically connected tender boys will become richer overnight.
They are telling SACCO members that their money will go into infrastructure, but nobody is explaining when those roads, airports or projects will zaa matunda and return real money to the teacher, nurse, farmer, trader or boda rider whose savings were touched.
Kenyans have already seen this movie, where a project starts with clean English, moves into inflated contracts, disappears into tender corridors, then returns years later as a scandal that nobody is punished for.
Why are we pretending this is development financing when everybody can smell the scam from the gate, especially after the same government borrowed everywhere, taxed everything, sold assets and still came back for private savings.
Call it what it is.
This is a scam in an infrastructure helmet.
For FULL INFORMATION:
1. My kid bro was on the road @ntsa_kenya said he was though he didn’t know the speed he was driving at.
2. When my bro sent me the text from @ntsa_kenya , I told him to verify before he paid.
3. He called the number on it & was told to pay the fine in any @KCBInKenya nearest to him.
4. When my bro returned to Nairobi, he went to KCB Branch at Freedom Heights on Lang’ata Road.
5. My bro went to a bank teller who confirmed the fine is legitimate & that he can pay the fine.
6. My bro paid the fine & was issued with a KCB receipt!
The entire process looked so legitimate except that after paying, my bro got the text alert that the money was paid to an account of CATHERINE JERONO TOMNO.
Unless @ntsa_kenya & @KCBInKenya publicly respond to this, then we will assume that they are part of a scheme to defraud Kenyans. Why should public funds be deposited in a private account?
My kid-bro received a text message purportedly from @ntsa_kenya for overspending … As a dutiful citizen, he paid the fine to the account at @KCBInKenya given by NTSA .. The account is in the name of CATHERINE JERONO TOMNO …. The law doesn’t allow Government institutions to open bank accounts in the names of individuals. Is NTSA exempt?
If the Bangladeshi youth had suspended protests, feared police brutality and waited for general elections, Bangladesh would still be under the tyrannical rule of Sheikh Hasina!
Because human DIGNITY is more precious than a full stomach in slavery, Kenyans must protest, march and demonstrate against injustices, impunity and profligacy.
#RutoMustGo#RevolutionNow
Those persistently scaremongering Kenyans and calling unarmed civilians “violent” or “chaotic” never ever shout about heavily armed police and murder squads who recklessly shoot peaceful protesters to death.
Stop normalizing state violence and thuggery. We must CRIMINALIZE excessive use of force or brutality by JAILING those responsible.
Kenyans have an absolute right to picket, protest, march and demonstrate peacefully! No ifs or buts!
PROTESTS are enshrined, entrenched and protected in and by the Constitution.
PROTESTS have liberated countries and societies from repressive regimes globally throughout history.
KENYANS have a right and ultimate authority to use PROTESTS against the tyrannical regime of @WilliamsRuto.
The so-called opposition should be leading PROTESTS against Ruto. Not asking Kenyans not to protest.
The demand must be on Ruto and his criminal gang not to assault, abduct, detain and/or kill innocent civilians exercising their constitutionally protected right to protest.
Asking Kenyans to “wait for election next year” is outrageous. The constitution cannot be waived or suspended until next year.
What will stop the same people from telling Kenyans not to oppose rigging of the presidential and general election “because Ruto has organized goons to kill you at the polling stations?”
Don’t buy fear.
FREE HISTORY and STRATEGIC LESSON
History never repeats itself. It only appears to do so as a farce.
Sifuna and Orengo believed, wrongly, that they could replicate what Raila Odinga did to KANU in 2002.
They forgot that Raila joined KANU as a party leader of NDP. KANU and NDP merged after formal negotiations.
Sifuna and Orengo joined ODM as INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS. They neither had political parties nor negotiations before joining.
Raila & Company did not take Moi and KANU to court to protest at being sidelined after Moi handpicked Uhuru Kenyatta as KANU’s presidential candidate in 2002.
Raila & Company RESIGNED from KANU and formed their own outfit called the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and ORGANIZED as a SEPARATE POLITICAL ENTITY.
Chart your path. Stop taking ODM to court, wasting resources and time. If you fundamentally disagree with ODM leadership, leave ODM because you will never do a hostile take over.
You are distracting Kenyans from addressing REAL INTRACTABLE PROBLEMS they are facing.
Holding political rallies is not unveiling ALTERNATIVE VISION, MANIFESTO or IDEOLOGY or IDEAS.
Just a few lessons for the hypocrites, opportunists and cowards.
Edwin Sifuna is a hypocrite. He can’t say that he totally disagrees with and doesn’t support his party leader, Oburu Oginga, or his party’s positions on everything, yet he wants to remain secretary general of a political party he claims to fundamentally disagree with.
He actually signed the ODM/UDA pact he now rails about. Where was his brain and stand when he signed the agreement in public in 2024? Remember that he signed the pact AFTER Ruto had massacred the GenZs!
We can’t support political hypocrisy and opportunism of this magnitude. He must resign from being secretary general and membership of ODM and seek a fresh mandate. That’s what Raila Odinga did when he resigned from FORD Kenya and vied on NDP.
Say NO to hypocrisy and opportunism among Kenyan MPigs!
When I disagreed with Raila Odinga on issues of governance, grand corruption in his office by him and his cronies, the failure to implement the constitution, and betrayal of the Kenyan progressive forces in 2011, I resigned from ODM and turned down his reinstatement.
One should not cling on to a political party and public office if one strongly disagrees with the political party and head of the government he serves.
The same reason why Jaramogi Oginga Odinga resigned from KANU and the tyrannical and plundering Jomo Kenyatta regime in 1966.
If Edwin Sifuna is principled, he should resign from ODM. Clinging on to ODM is both hypocritical and cowardly!

Another comes here to tell us daily,
"Kenya needs a reconnaissance,"
But when a moment for reconnaissance comes, he hides!
He is a fat liar. @Honcalebamisi
