I just hope that nothing will happen to them in that scenario. In the worst possible outcome though, they might be taken as slaves or may be forced to convert. Also, all the land that they have may be taken away from them, and it may be exploited by Europeans. #ihopenot

[14A] The natives in Cebu that we met weren't particularly affected in any way by us, except for the fact that the Humabon were converted to Christianity. The real effect may take place in the future if the Europeans choose to colonize Southeast Asia.🌏

[13D] Lastly and most importantly, through circumnavigating the Earth, we proved that it's round, against the belief of the Church. We also established the fact that the earth is a lot larger and has an Ocean that we had no idea about before our expedition. #Discovies

[13C] Through our journey, we were able to discover a very important trade route that will be used by several countries in Europe. This will boost several economies, including the one of Spain.

[13B] First of all, we brought an entire ship worth of spices which we will sell, and make some solid cash. 🪙 The second thing that we brought which far exceeds the value of money, is information that revolutionized the world. #madeachange

This trip has been very challenging both physically and mentally for all of us, even those that aren't with us anymore.

[10G] Update: Trinidad, the second last ship that we had, ended up sinking as well. Its crew had to either board Victoria or continue and find their way back to Spain from India on their own. #unfortunate🌍
