Off to London we go! π¬π§ 6 students are travelling down to London today to take part in London Mini-Marathon tomorrow as part of the Southport Learning Trust fundraising for #kNOwKnifeCrime - we canβt wait! ππ
Y9 also completed their 2025 TCS Mini London Marathon, completing their 2 mile run around the school grounds! Again, over 200 students took part in todayβs event from Y9 - a massive well done to everyone who took part, raising Β£147 as a year group ππ»ββοΈπππ»ββοΈ @MaghullHighsch
Then on Friday, staff and students from across the @SouthportLTrust will head to London π¬π§ where students will complete the mini-marathon on Saturday before 5 of our Trustβs staff (including our very own Headteacher) take on the ultimate challenge of the London Marathon on Sunday
Our next event takes place tomorrow as our year 7 and year 9 students complete their own mini marathon by running (or walking) two miles across the school grounds during their PE lessons. We are asking students to donate Β£2 each which will go towards our sponsorship page.

πRewards & Celebration WeekπWe are so proud of Amelie Y7 who was selected to take part in a series of dance competitions including the βJanet Cram Awardβ which took place in Bristol. Amelie was successful and has reached the final to be held in Essex in June! Well done Amelie!
Our girls enjoyed a visit @LFC today as part of the She Inspires Programme. Students took part in team building activities involving STEM challenges, explored healthy relationships and had a sneak peek at the stadium itself.
Fantastic afternoon at @MerseysideSport Indoor Athletics. This was our first time representing Sefton at the Merseyside School Games and Y7 girls did @MaghullHighsch proud!

Both teams finished top 5 in the League so today played the strongest schools in Sefton.
The standard of play was extremely high but we displayed resilience & determination throughout!

Year 10 lost 3-1 in the Sefton Cup Semi Final against a determined Range High team. A close game and disappointed to not make it to the final. Onto next year lads. MOTM goes to Jack for a committed performance from the very first minute. @MaghullHighsch
