Secure Your Multisig Signing Workflows — Seriously, You Can’t Wait.

Let’s cut to the chase: the Bybit breach today and Radiant Capital’s multisig hack last year aren’t just oops moments. Unauthorized transactions slipping through? That’s a wake-up call. Time to lock things down.

Where things go sideways (way too often):

- UI Spoofing: Ever seen a fake Safe site?.
- Blind Signing: Ledgers and others force you to trust external UIs because sometimes they can’t decode complex transactions on-device.
- Sketchy Multisig Thresholds: 3-of-11 approvals from Radiant might be risky.

Two quick wins I can think of:

1. Simulate Every. Single. Transaction. No excuses.

Take a page from Squad on Solana—their tool spits out a simulation that looks like Solana Explorer, so you see exactly what the transaction does (like token balance changes). For critical moves (e.g., shifting funds from cold to hot wallets), save those simulations. Screenshot them, log them, whatever. This step should be non-negotiable.

2. Use iOS + Hardware Wallets for Multisig.

Hardware wallets alone aren’t enough. Blind signing is a necessary evil, and desktop browsers? Malware central. When connecting to Safe or Squad, do it on an iPhone. iOS browsers run in a sandbox—way harder for bad actors to hijack your transaction data.

TL;DR:
Stop cutting corners. Simulate transactions like your funds depend on it (they do). Pair hardware wallets with iOS to dodge sketchy browsers. And rethink those multisig thresholds—3-of-11 is basically inviting trouble. Stay paranoid, folks.

Bros if I can get a little sentimental, some words as a former early hire at @MagicEden:

$ME has been 3+ years in the making. I could've never predicted that I'd be here when I joined ME in Oct '21.

In '21 I quit my job w/ no plan. ME took a big bet on me & I poured my heart into what was a rising Solana NFT marketplace.

The first 2 years at ME were pure chaos. Everyone who worked at ME made extraordinary personal sacrifices to keep feeding our baby. For example, the day after we dropped to optional royalties on Solana NFTs, I felt so low that I got into a motorcycle accident that led to multiple stitches in my head and across my body. I still have the scars.

Not to wax poetic about it but an extraordinary company was forged through repeated trials and tribulations. Everyone who has contributed to the growth of the protocols has experienced nothing short of an emotional journey if they're still around. It takes character to endure the volatility of our industry, and only time can mold character. Ok I'll get off my soapbox.

People predicted the death of Magic Eden several times, but even the biggest critics know that Magic Eden is not only live, but thriving today.

I don't want to comment on the price of the token. The token price is going to change over the next few months. I really want people to deeply understand that the short term price of the token doesn't matter.

If you have $ME, all you need to know is that $ME is a thesis that
- the future of trading is going to be onchain, and
- the builders on the protocols (the biggest builder being the Magic Eden team) is gonna figure out how to build the most retail friendly platform and deliver it to the masses.

Is the ME dapp perfect? No, what's perfect in crypto? Nothing is perfect. It's actually great that there is still so much room to grow.

Few teams dare to dream as big as Magic Eden does -- to conquer all major chains and build NFT and token trading on each chain. And I look forward to the dream coming true.

Think of $ME is like a gate opening to the community, welcoming everyone to join the larger mission of bringing everyone onchain.
