Neocortical Neurogenesis in Development and Evolution edited by WIELAND B. HUTTNER is out https://t.co/DwsR2DBpX4. Superb resource to learn about cortical progenitors; lineages; specification; migration; patterning; cortical regionalisation; folding; disorders; evolution.
We thank all authors on this manuscript @mikelaff, Alvaro Beltran, Tala Farah, Niya Patel, @NanaMatoba, Sara Ahmed,Mary Srivastava, Emma Drake, Liam T. Davis, Meghana Yeturi, Kexin Sun, @mikelove. Many thanks to the IDDRC iPSC and organoid working groups for their support! 9/9
Excited to share a new preprint on the cross-site reproducibility of human cortical organoids co-led with Elisa Waxman & Deborah French at CHOP and Satoshi Yamashita & Kazue Hashimoto-Torii at Children's National and my PI @jsteinlab! https://t.co/Ze6YKqrcWM 1/9
Our study shows organoids model cortical organization and cell type composition across multiple research groups. Gene expression and organoid size had cross-site differences. We hope encourage future work on organoid reproducibility. 8/9
