It really just comes down to economics. The whole narrative of “decoupling” from China is just pure political talk. Politicians trying to move public opinion, but when reality hits, China is the world’s factory, the world’s largest trading partner to 120+ countries and simply put THE most important part to the global economy. Good for Australia to pivot from the absolute terrible policies of the Morrison government and improve its relationship with China. So many Australians have become rich from trading with China and reality finally hit the Australian government…there is no future economic growth without trading with China
