Geopolitics, history and culture; but mostly focuses my online time on the RU invasion of Ukraine due to its extreme importance.

Apparently the Russians have deployed a BMP-2M infantry fighting vehicle for C-UAS operations near the border between the Crimean Peninsula and Russia-occupied part of Ukraine's Kherson Oblast due to the ongoing Ukrainian drone offensive there.
The vehicle was struck by a Ukrainian FP-2 medium-range attack drone.
BMP-2M is a modernized version of the BMP-2 IFV, equipped with the "Berezhok" combat module.
Magyar’s update on the short-term prospects for titanium production in occupied Crimea.
“Crimean Titan” is no friend to russian titanium.
If they mothball it, the air in Armyansk will become easier to breathe.
The largest industrial giant in Eastern Europe, located in Armyansk and now owned by “Russian Titan” (seized, like everything else, during the occupation of Crimea), produces titanium dioxide.
It works day and night for the aggressor’s military-industrial complex, poisoning the surrounding area with the stench of sulfur.
It produces the basic raw materials used to manufacture gunpowder, rocket fuel, and explosives.
On the night of June 13, the freedom-loving Ukrainian Bird of the @1usc_army paid a courtesy visit to the aforementioned facility.
Objective control confirms successful strikes. The fire is raging. Production has been suspended.
From local channels:
▪️ “The whole plant has been smashed. There were 23 hits. Every workshop was damaged, everything is burning, people were evacuated and sent home!”
More to come. Crimea has never been yours, worms.

Overnight, Ukrainian mid-range attack drones swarmed and struck the Russian-occupied Crimean Titan chemical plant in Armyansk, a key producer of Titanium oxide and nitrate (explosive) products.
Seen here, onboard footage as multiple Ukrainian attack drones slam into the plant.
Ukrainian strikes with FP-2 middle-range strike drones hitting the "Dzhankoi" border crossing, poonton bridges and railway bridge linking the Crimean Peninsula with Russia-occupied part of Ukraine's Kherson Oblast.
In addition to that, the Ukrainians also targeted trucks set to deliver supplies to the Russians in the occupied areas of Ukraine.
Ukrainian drones struck the Taman port complex again overnight, with Russian air defense launches, explosions and at least two fire signatures observed. One fire was recorded at the Tamanneftegaz LPG terminal, with another near truck parking and warehouse infrastructure. #Russia
🌉 The Russian-appointed governor of occupied Kherson Oblast, Vladimir Saldo, has confirmed strikes on the Chongar crossings.
Saldo also stated that the bridges connecting Henichesk and the Arabat Spit were targeted during the attack. He claimed that 25 drones were shot down, without mentioning how many reached their targets.
📍 The Chongar crossing is currently closed, while traffic on the Arabat Spit bridges is operating in reverse mode using a single lane.
The Russians employing 43 FPV drones to crush concrete support columns of a road bridge on the Nitrius river in Ukraine's Kharkiv Oblast.
Ultimately, the bridge collapsed.
@CarpathoMax@UAControlMap I would bet on coordination being the primary issue myself, even though there will be drone shortages in some sectors. But it seems as if this should have been foreseen (logical outcome of blowing up bridges) and logistics for this operation be prioritised. So there is an error.
Unfortunately this shows a failure in the midstrikes to stopping logistics from Crimea. Pontoon has been up for a while. We truly expected it to have gone down already.
It has to go down and stay down, with the slowed down traffic being hit too. That means it's going to require regular midstrike sorties over the area. Not sure what's gone wrong here to be honest.
@mimisrevenge1@Faytuks That's what happens when one starts a war without a plan, no public and political support, and loses and must so find a way out. Even super strong USA will then have to accept shit terms comparable to it's power.

Sytuacja w rejonie Konstantynówki, cześć IX. Gen Syrski dymisjonuje dowódców 28 i 156 BZ.
Według info podanych dzisiaj przez Hromadske gen. Syrski w związku z sytuacją w rejonie Konstantynówki, w ostatnich dniach zwolnił płk Jurija Hupaluka dowódcę 156 BZ i płk Anatolija Kułykiwskiego dowódcę 28 BZ.
To tamtędy rus weszli do miasta. Brygada miała źle zorganizować stałą obserwację z dronów rozpoznawczych tzw. "karuzelę", a prawidłowy podział zasobów jednostek bezzałogowych nie funkcjonował.
"Weszła 156. brygada do Konstantynówki. Mają tylko jeden stream z 'Maviców'. Zrozumiałe, że przez nich przeszli.Nowe pododdziały to problem numer jeden. Ludzi, których rekrutują, lepiej byłoby przydzielać do starych brygad. Do tego jednostki korpuśne też rekrutują ludzi, którzy często nie wiedzą, co robić" - opowiedział dziennikarzowi Hromadske dowódca kompanii z innej brygady.
Oprócz zmian dowódców brygad ukr SG i Naczelne Dowództwo przeprowadza dodatkowe kontrole w sztabach walczących tam jednostkach. W pododdziałach broniących kierunku konstantynowskiego trwa także inspekcja ze sztabu OSG „Wschód”, które sprawdza, czy pozycje, o których raportują dowódcy w terenie, faktycznie są nadal utrzymywane.
