सिंधुदुर्ग जिल्ह्याच्या सर्वांगीण विकासात प्रसारमाध्यमांची भूमिका अत्यंत महत्त्वाची आहे. समाजहिताचे प्रश्न मांडणे, विकासकामांना सकारात्मक दिशा देणे आणि जनतेपर्यंत वस्तुनिष्ठ माहिती पोहोचविण्याचे कार्य माध्यमे प्रभावीपणे करत असतात. कोकणसादनेही गेली ३७ वर्षे पत्रकारितेची मूल्ये जपत जिल्ह्याच्या विकासात मोलाचे योगदान दिले आहे. भविष्यातही सिंधुदुर्गचा सर्वांगीण विकास आणि जिल्ह्याला अव्वल स्थान मिळवून देण्यासाठी प्रशासन व लोकप्रतिनिधींना अशीच सकारात्मक आणि विधायक साथ मिळत राहावी, अशा भावना यावेळी व्यक्त केल्या.

या कार्यक्रमास सिंधुदुर्गच्या जिल्हाधिकारी तृप्ती धोडमिसे, आध्यात्मिक गुरू श्री श्री श्री १०८ महंत गावडे काका महाराज, जिल्हा बँकेचे अध्यक्ष मनीष दळवी, युवराज लखमराजे भोसले तसेच विविध क्षेत्रांतील मान्यवर उपस्थित होते.
