Smt. G. Aparna Rao, IRS, Member (TPS & R), CBDT & Zonal Member - East Zone, visited Kolkata on 11th & 12th August 2026. She was warmly welcomed by Smt. Surabhi Varma Garg, IRS, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, West Bengal & Sikkim. During her visit, Smt. G. Aparna Rao, Member (TPS & R), CBDT, chaired a detailed review meeting with senior officers of the Region, covering key result areas including JAO, TDS, Faceless Assessment and Appeals. She interacted with officers on critical issues, reviewed key performance indicators and provided strategic guidance for improving workflow management and ensuring outcome-oriented functioning. Smt.
