The shooting incident in Washington, DC yesterday, which left National Guard soldiers injured, is deeply troubling and condemnable.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured service members and their families, and we pray for their complete recovery.

Islam places the highest value on the sanctity of human life. The Holy Qur’an states:
"…whosoever killed a person – unless it be for killing a person or for creating disorder in the land – it shall be as if he killed all mankind; and whoso gave life to one , it shall be as if he had given life to all mankind."
