Three coworkers risk missing @watoc2020 because of visa delays. They applied within the proper time, but less than 1 week to travel, no news.
@Canada consulates seem inspired by authoritarian regimes: they don't tell dates or application status; they don't answer calls or emails.

@CitImmCanada Extremely disappointed. After 5 years of being in the scientific community, applying for visas to attend important conferences feels absurd. Even after going through the trouble of applications, numerous documents, and excessive waiting times, it isn't processed.
