AN INNOCENT LIFE CUT SHORT. JUSTICE FOR LAURA WESONGA MUST NOT WAIT
I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of Ms. Laura Wesonga, a KMTC Busia Campus student, who was fatally shot during a police operation in Marachi Estate, Busia Town yesterday evening. I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, fellow students, and the people of Busia.
The police have a constitutional duty to protect life. No law enforcement operation should result in the loss of innocent lives. Every operation must be conducted with professionalism, restraint, and full respect for the Constitution.
I therefore call for an immediate, independent, and transparent investigation by @IPOA_KE with any officer found responsible held fully accountable. The @NPSOfficial_KE operations should be intelligence led, professional policing that protects innocent citizens while firmly dealing with crime.
The political temperatures in Busia must cool down immediately. I urge political leaders across Busia and the wider nation to fully embrace democracy. In a democracy, dissent is a right. Not everyone must support you. Using hired goons to intimidate rivals and settle political scores is primitive, illegal, and unacceptable.
#JusticeforLauraWesonga must be swift, transparent, and uncompromising. The people of Busia deserve security, accountability, and respect for the sanctity of human life.
PS for Youth, Fikirini Jacobs
Yesterday you attended a Youth empowerment meeting at Kariokor
When it ended, you told a comrade, a TUK alumnus , Cecil Otieno to enter your car achukulie youth chai (allegedly)
Whatever altercation ensued in your car remains a mystery
All is known is that your bodyguard SHOT HIM ON THE RIBS, then his body dumped by the road
You were an ODM youth leader who got a chance into government thanks to Raila and Ruto’s post June 2024 camaraderie
Unaua Mjaluo kwanini? Why are Luo Youth still being MURDERED na wako pande ya sirkal?
Mr. President, @WilliamsRuto , ni kura gani unatafuta kwa wajaluo when a PS does this and gets away with it!
Comrades bebeni hiyo maiti mpeleke Talanta annex kwa ofisi ya Fikirini aikule bas
Shoga, ghasia, baradhuli yeye. In fact huyo nataka kufanya kazi yake
Do not rest Comrade Cecile. Haunt your killers
We have won!!!
The High Court has declared unconstitutional the Petition I filed challenging sections of the Computer Misuse & Cybercrimes (Amendment) Act, 2025!
Sec. 6 (1) (J) (a) has been declared unconstitutional!! The state can’t stifle Kenyans rights and freedoms to free speech!
A huge thank you to my advocates; George Sakimpa & Andrew Muge!
They killed Albert Ojwang' and now they have killed Cecil Otieno.
Not in a police cell, but inside the vehicle of a PS.
It's time we make the lives of these oppressors uncomfortable.
#JusticeForCecilOtieno
Comrade Lichuma has been found.!!!!
He is currently at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital receiving care, though he is in a really bad condition and he looks visibly shaken.
The resurfacing of activists who went missing during the recent Gen Z memorial protests in Nairobi and the attempted kidnapping of a senior editor on Saturday morning have reignited public outrage and fuelled debate over the State's alleged use of abductions to terrorise and silence critics, including ordinary citizens.
The latest disappearances follow what rights groups describe as a pattern that has emerged since the June 2024 Gen Z uprising, in which plain-clothes officers travelling in unmarked vehicles allegedly seize protesters and take them to undisclosed locations.

Hearty congratulations to the African teams advancing to the #worldcupfootball Round of 32!
As a lifelong football fan, I am fully caught up in the World Cup excitement!
Are you in Nairobi, a lover of the beautiful game? Would you like to join me?
Be among the first 50 persons to express interest, and you will be invited to the MaragaWorld Cup Watch-Along on Tuesday at 20:00 pm for the Ivory Coast🇨🇮 v Norway🇸🇯 game.
Don’t rely on mainstream outlets alone. Support independent voices, citizen journalists, and platforms that choose substance over sensationalism.
Read the court filings, follow the proceedings, and hold everyone, including media houses to account. The Constitution isn't a reserved document; it is the people’s shield.
Let’s defend it together through informed public discourse.
Thank you @gitweeta for sharing this. The paper you cite adds an interesting perspective to the growing debate on accountability and access to justice. I would be very interested in engaging with you further on this issue.
I am currently putting together a case in Kenya concerning the conduct, influence, and accountability of the IMF and World Bank. Your research and analysis could provide valuable insights. Please get in touch with me directly.
Congratulations, @OkiyaOmtatah, for the preliminary win. The case attacking the immunity (should be called the “impunity”) Act you are contemplating should probably be filed soon and consolidated with the current case so that @IMFNews and its slaves in Kenya won’t argue the res judicata nonsense later.
Thank you for the solidarity and the unwavering support from you and the @UGMParty. This victory does not belong to me, but to the people of Kenya and the Constitution we swore to protect.
THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN.
You asked. You shared. You demanded it.
So we're bringing it back. The Gallery of Ruto's Lies returns for a special re-air today—the Eighth Day.

Don't miss it. Only on KTN.

Congratulations Senator @OkiyaOmtatah for this victory. I and @UGMParty laud you for your consistency in defending our Constitution.
This is a consequential ruling confirming that our Courts will audit all aspects of governance, including our finances and the question of national interest.
I share your views that there must be a transparent and public audit of our national debt to determine the extent to which it is odious.
Our shared vision as constitutionalists, is that all the architects and duty bearers of Kenya’s reckless debt binging since 2013, be they foreign or domestic, will not evade accountability.
It is worth recalling that in the FY 2026/2027 budget of KSh 4.82 trillion, approximately 48% (KSh 2.31 trillion) of the total expenditure framework is designated for public debt servicing. Essentially, nearly half of the budget is directly going to creditors, tightening the fiscal space available for development.
This is unsustainable.
The overriding national imperative, as we head to the 2027 general election, is to join hands and form an #Ukatiba government to deliver true national renewal.
2027 is an #Ukombozi moment from the chockhold of odious debt. Let us all unite and redeem our nation from predatory extractive forces.
High Court throws out AG Oduor's application to block Senator Okiya Omtatah's Sh7 trillion public debt case, judges rule petition will go to full hearing.
