@Dshoopy0@4emski@fluorinespark@paularambles Yes, they do generate their own power... by running gas turbines on site. Even if they aren't doing that, noise pollution alone is reason enough to not want a datacenter in your neighborhood.
@Yaboi_Juju@PabloMakes Railjacks are similar, it's a massive grind to get the right parts, crew, mods, and intrinsics together. Hell, it's a big problem for pubs that the host's Railjack is the one used because Railjack is very reliant on having a good ship.
@Yaboi_Juju@PabloMakes Necramechs use archguns. Archguns can use arcanes and also have their own mods, some of which are hard to get. They also have their own mod set that very much allows them to better handle endgame content.
@poppy_haze It's like, I know I'm occasionally clumsy and drop my phone so I buy a case. It should be an expectation that a small child may fuck up your TV.
@SaintHeartwing@Mike_from_PA If a corporation truly has more money than they can feasibly spend on R&D, higher wages, expansion, or future investments then it shouldn't be a problem if we just tax the shit out of them and find some other use for that money.
@SaintHeartwing@Mike_from_PA Yeah, and we spend more on healthcare than our peers because we waste a bunch of money on middlemen because that enriches a small portion of the population. I don't see how that ties into corporate spending.
@PabloMakes The ideal fix for heat inheritance is prioritizing the largest heat proc rather than the first. Players can't nerf themselves, Ember gets better.
@sithhappens2025@ShelbyJ67270321@SockDemFan@vedantvedantved Well actually what they were doing with those tax dollars was making one of the best public schools in the country, sent at least 2 kids to an Ivy/MIT every year. But it was a relatively wealthy town, still had shitty school lunches.
@HotKFCNugs@Saboogus I've done tridolon pubs before. Yes, the playerbase is too stupid for raids and that's fine. I think that the majority want to complete stuff solo, in pubs, or with a couple friends, not organize a big group.
@MishaKalinka@ChronoHarlequin Smashing cabinets and tile with a sledgehammer is fun. Maybe people should just sell tickets to their kitchen demolition?
@DocCosmic98 Reminds me of the fragmentation munitions that Israelis have been using recently against Palestinian camps. Tungsten cubes around the warhead, just create small penetrating wounds everywhere.
@ben2calderon@vedantvedantved That's the reason why attempts to fix this fail. If schools put a significant amount of money towards meals, then parents complain that their money is going towards feeding other children. Schools keep it as cheap as possible, so you're getting frozen processed bullshit.
@ShelbyJ67270321@SockDemFan@vedantvedantved I was in school before and after that program. Nothing changed. School lunches were always shit because schools just don't put in the budget for it.
@Mooomanman@johndoe93252173@boogarteen@wallace2585599 In an American context, lot more Jewish immigrants than Russians, they were the ones making and selling this food. Not exclusive to them, of course, I ain't Jewish and I grew up eating kasha varnishkes, but that's where most of the exposure is.
@Tomycj1@SkypeSpringham@spectraimsim Left wing extremists want to tear down the existing power structures and put the common people in charge of society. This is why the Red Scare happened, why we still have a blockade on Cuba, why the FBI killed Fred Hampton. The wealthy do not want their power taken away.
@Tomycj1@SkypeSpringham@spectraimsim The point is that the existing power structures were lenient to right wing extremism precisely because liberal capitalists have nothing to fear from right wing extremists. Plenty of industrialists benefitted from slave labor under Hitler, Elon's family made money off Apartheid.
@SnowPunn@fluffinfuwa@kenobi1_obi Yeah that makes sense. Either way, it's just harder to install AC when you aren't using the American method of construction. Maybe you can stick a mini split in there or use a window unit, not many other options.
