I know Mikayla is known for her reviews but IMO if she wants to do paid content/ads, it’s a better idea to do as a GRWM or makeup look, where it’s incorporated into a look so her reviews standout as being genuine and believable.

Deceptive and false advertising in makeup used to be solely print but it’s interesting to see it transition to influencers and video. Brands faking swatches? Mikayla using falsies for a mascara ad (and lying about it)? FTC can’t keep up at this point

Colourpop is choosing to create a HP collection that financially benefits JK Rowling, a known TERF espousing transphobic views. So Colourpop’s solution is to donate money to organizations that support the very trans individuals harmed by TERFs like JK. Make it make sense??
