15 نوفمبر 2025؛ في مقابلة مع قناة بي بي سي - عربي BBC Arabic، وتعليقا عن تصريحات للمندوب الدائم للمملكة المغربية 🇲🇦 لدى الأمم المتحدة 🇺🇳 #عمر_هلال يدعي فيها ان "الاستفتاء تم دفنه وأصبح متجاوزا"، تم التأكيد على أن:

أولا: ماهو متجاوز بالفعل، وتم دفنه منذ زمن طويل هو الطرح المغربي الأصلي القاضي بضم الاقليم بشكل تام وما رافقه من شعارات ك "الملف المطوي" و"الاستفتاء التأكيدي"، و "المغرب من طنجة إلى لگويرة"… الخ، وهو طرح تم استبداله الآن بمقترح "الحكم الذاتي".

ثانيا: قرار مجلس الامن الدولي 2797 (2025) المصادق عليه مؤخرا، بخلاف إدعاء الدبلوماسي المغربي، يجعل من الاستفتاء خيارا قائما ومركزيا في مسار التسوية الأممية المطلوبة، وذلك من خلال النقاط الثلاث الهامة التي أكد عليها القرار ألا وهي:
1. تأكيد القرار على حق #الشعب_الصحراوي 🇪🇭 في تقرير المصير وفق مبادئ وميثاق #الأمم_المتحدة 🇺🇳 ، باعتباره الهدف النهائي لمسار التسوية السلمية الذي سيقوده الأمين العام ومبعوثه الشخصي.
2. عدم تبني القرار لمقترح #المغرب 🇲🇦 لا باعتباره القاعدة الوحيدة للتفاوض ولا للحل النهائي، والتفتح على مقترح #جبهة_البوليساريو المفصل الذي يتأسس على الاستفتاء. مقترح أشار إليه المبعوث الشخصي ستيفان ديميستورا في ندوته الصحفية يوم 06 نوفمبر الجاري.
3. التمديد لبعثة الامم المتحدة لتنظيم الاستفتاء في #الصحراء_الغربية 🇪🇭 "مينورسو" عاملا كاملا بنفس المأمورية بما فيها حرف "الراء" في مختصر إسم البعثة باللاتينية والذي يشير الى الاستفتاء.

ثالثا: وكخلاصة، فان الاستفتاء ما زال هو الخيار القائم والمنسجم مع قرار مجلس الأمن الأخير الذي يشير إلى "حق الشعب الصحراوي في تقرير المصير وفق ميثاق ومبادئ الامم المتحدة"، وهو ما يعني ان الشعب الصحراوي وحده، هو من يملك حق تحديد الوضع النهائي للاقليم، باعتباره اقليما غير متمتع بالاستقلال الذاتي، وبصدد عملية تصفية استعمار.

- She noted that while peace actors often claim neutrality and non-politicisation, their statements and positions sometimes reflect selective political endorsement.
- Hon. Mariem stressed that peace cannot be meaningful where international law is applied unevenly, or where the voices of those directly affected are overlooked.
- She reaffirmed that the United Nations remains the legitimate and internationally recognized framework for resolving the Western Sahara question, and that any durable solution must be grounded in the legal principle of self-determination, with both parties participating on equal terms.
- She cautioned against narratives that attempt to reframe or dilute this legal foundation, emphasizing that the African continent must not abandon a rules-based approach in pursuit of short-term political convenience.
