Did you know that the Mennonites and the Amish have a history of bailing out failing national agricultural systems? Did you know that Belize, Switzerland, and Germany are all legacies of thriving soil systems thanks to the Mennonites and the Amish taking the lead? Arguably, the Amish have the best soil in the United States right now and the lowest community childhood disease rates. While I'd LOVE @RepThomasMassie to run the USDA, my second, most logical nomination is for @johnkempf. John is a responsible business man that has a vision and plan for turning around our supply management system to include soil as a primary consideration. America is a diverse and inclusive nation of experts: Let's LIVE UP TO IT and nominate the first Amish leadership to government.

FOMC cut interest rates another 1/4%. Yields have moved down slightly since then on the long and short end. It also remains to be seen the impact on this and other financial markets. I will monitor this as things becomes clearer and the remaining house races are decided. 🧵#3 END

Government MUST curb spending ASAP if inflation is not to remain a major issue. What will likely NOT be cut is Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid. The idea pushed by the left that the old and/or disabled are getting cut off is preposterous, much like internment camps! 🧵#2

2024 Election and FOMC update: Right now, it is too early to tell the exact impact on Main Street from the 2024 federal election. However, I see it as an overall probable net POSITIVE, especially compared to a Harris victory, which would of been highly negative. 🧵#1
