I worked in NHS for 37years as an Enrolled Nurse in the first instance, then as a Staff Nurse.
The wards are understaffed, resulting in all staff being over worked. The pressure brings with it, resentment, and an unsafe environment.

@daisy_mcquade11 @AnnLedger8 @Cath_Tyldesley So I returned to work in theatre recovery. There are patients dying with no underlying conditions from covid. All ages, male and female. Those who appear to recover often have medical problems as a result of covid which range from conditions like myocarditis, or dyspnoea.

A 23yr old girl died, no predisposed medical condition. A 37yr old man, non smoker, just a little overweight. Dead.

My pals daughter comes home crying often as another patient has passed away. These are often patients who have improved and are self ventilating.

That is to say a 30 bedded ward begin to take positive patients. Each bay has 4 beds. There are also single rooms. The single rooms have non covid patients.
