Day 9 of the #IranWar.

The Jordanian army reports intercepting 119 Iranian rockets and drones attacking Jordanian territory.

Yet the Iranian embassy continues to deny that #Iran targeted #Jordan, contradicting the statements of the Jordanian army.

Despite this, political parties affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and the left/socialists have remained silent on Iran’s aggression against Jordan.
No condemnation. No protests outside the Iranian embassy.

In fact, some “independents” visited the embassy in #Amman to offer condolences for Khamenei’s death.

Taken together, the reactions reflect a familiar pattern in Jordan’s political landscape and say much about their priorities when Jordan itself is under attack.

Hardly surprising, but deeply troubling.

It’s insane to watch people who once claimed to defend human rights in the Middle East now defend the Iranian regime. I’m losing respect for so many people.

I understand that Palestinians tend to build their entire worldview around who opposes Israel and who doesn’t, but this isn’t sustainable and is honestly an immature way to understand global affairs.

Palestinians are as worthy of support and human rights as any other people, and so are Iranians. If you think one of their struggles is more important than the other, then you are part of the problem.
