Muscat Stock Exchange has no public API. So I built one myself, symbol discovery, daily and intraday data, a database, quality checks, and a backtesting engine. First use was a momentum strategy, which turned up a finding more important than the strategy itself. Liquidity constraints control the outcome more than signal quality does. Details in a research paper I'm working on.
