Court Update:

The High Court has granted conservatory orders restraining the Government from establishing, operationalising, facilitating, approving, or permitting any Ebola quarantine, isolation, exposure, or treatment facility in Kenya pursuant to the challenged arrangement with the United States or any other foreign government pending the hearing and determination of the petition.

The Court has further prohibited the admission into, transfer to, receipt within, or facilitation of entry into Kenya of persons exposed to or infected with Ebola under the challenged arrangement.

The Court has also compelled the Respondents to disclose all agreements, negotiations, approvals, risk assessments, and operational protocols relating to the proposed facility and arrangement within 7 days.

These orders maintain the current state of affairs, prevent irreversible actions from being taken before constitutional scrutiny, and ensure transparency and public accountability in a matter raising significant concerns about public health, sovereignty, and constitutional governance.

Okiya Omtatah's petition on Odious debt is coming up on the 10th of March 2026 at the Milimani High Court.

More than Ksh 6.8T which was illegally borrowed, cannot be traced in the economy.

The individual borrowers MUST explain to Kenyans why they are being overtaxed to pay what they never consented to nor benefited from.

Because aflatoxin contamination in milk has been linked to serious health risks, including liver cancer, we began conducting independent milk testing in Nairobi and Mombasa to protect consumers.

Since December, we have completed four more rounds of testing. Our most recent samples from Tuzo, Ilara, Brookside, and Bio Milk passed the 3 aflatoxin tests, and camel milk samples collected in Eastleigh also showed no contamination.

Only one sample of camel milk had very minute traces of formalin, an improvement from last December, when several camel milk samples had traces. We are still awaiting results for metal contaminants, such as lead, before releasing a full report.

We will continue regular testing every 4-8 weeks for milk and 8-12 weeks for sugar.

Kenyans deserve safe food. We will keep watching.

Today, the court issued an order of habeas corpus compelling the IG of Police and the DCI to produce Mr. Mohamed, the trader abducted in Busia, dead or alive and justify his detention.

This follows deeply credible reports of an enforced disappearance. If Mr. Mohamed is not produced, the authorities must file sworn affidavits identifying the arresting officers, the chain of command, and a full account of his fate or current condition.

Secret detentions have no place in Kenya. The Constitution ensures that no citizen can be placed beyond the reach of the law. Habeas corpus exists to protect human dignity from the overreach of the state.

We demand that the @NPSOfficial_KE and @DCI_Kenya comply with this order without delay. Compliance is a constitutional obligation, not an option.
To the public and civil society: stay engaged. Public scrutiny is often the only thing that protects the vulnerable.

My fellow Kenyans, there is something important about CBC and Grade 10 that is not being honestly explained to the public, by the William Ruto government and, unfortunately, by much of the mainstream media.

On television, we are told that Grade 10 learners are failing to join schools because of lack of fees, and that schools lack textbooks.

But there is a bigger question that neither government briefings nor prime-time news panels are asking.

In 2025, the government signed a €180 million World Bank loan for grade 10 & cbc education.

The money was released in December 2025.
Repayment by all Kenyan taxpayers begins in 2029.

According to the official loan documents, part of this money was meant to:

- Provide textbooks for every Grade 10 learner (1:1 ratio)
- Offer full scholarships to needy students
- Build classrooms to support the CBC transition
- Provide free lunch for Grade 10 learners

Now ask yourself:

If textbooks were funded, why are parents being asked to buy them?
If scholarships were funded, why are many learners failing to report for Grade 10?
If classrooms were funded, why do many schools show no new infrastructure?
Something does not add up.

What is even more troubling is that a huge chunk of this loan is allocated to ministry offices, administration, and so-called "consultations," while less than half directly benefits learners.

If loans are borrowed in the name of our children, why do offices benefit more than classrooms and students?

This is not noise.
It is accountability.

Some truths will never lead the evening news.
But they must still be told.

EXECUTIVE IMPUNITY AND THE EROSION OF THE RULE OF LAW

The story in today’s Daily Nation about senior State officials openly defying court orders is deeply troubling but sadly, not surprising. It confirms what I have warned about for some time now: we are sliding toward an imperial presidency, one that treats the Constitution as optional rather than as the supreme law binding us all.

President William Ruto came into office promising a “bottom-up” transformation and pledging respect for the independence of the Judiciary. Today, those promises ring hollow. What we are seeing instead is growing executive impunity. This is not a minor legal issue, it strikes at the very heart of our democracy. When the State decides which court orders to follow and which to ignore, it undermines the sovereignty of the people and sends a dangerous message: that justice is reserved for the powerful, not for all.

A glaring example is the conduct of the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA). On December 11, 2025, a three-judge bench of the Environment and Land Court issued clear conservatory orders stopping the Southlands Affordable Housing Project in Lang’ata. Yet just five days later, and in open disregard of the court, NEMA’s Director-General, Dr. Mamo Boru Mamo, allegedly issued an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) licence to allow the project to proceed. This was a blatant act of contempt and an endorsement of illegal construction on public land.

Let me be clear on where I stand:
•Contempt must carry consequences. I have moved to the High Court to have the NEMA Director-General cited for contempt and committed to civil jail. State officers must understand that they are personally accountable when they choose to break the law.
•Public land is not up for grabs. The Southlands project sits on land historically set aside for road and railway corridors. No slogan about “affordable housing” can justify the grabbing of environmental buffer zones or the exclusion of the public from decisions that affect them.
•The Judiciary is our last line of defence. The Executive may wield power, but the courts hold the moral and constitutional authority to restrain it. I urge the Judiciary to stand firm against this growing culture of Utado!, open defiance of the law.

We do not defend the Constitution when it is convenient. We defend it because it is our only protection against tyranny.

Here is why,

KANU achieved its ideology [Self-independence]

NARC/ODM achieved its ideology [Decentralisation of power and resources]

Once a political party achieves its political moment, we can't hang around it anymore.

It is time to stir a new political wave anchored in something beyond the usual political slogans.

Today, every citizen is yearning for dignity. To be treated like a taxpayer.

To see your taxes doing something that adds dignity to the pocket and the table.

It is the reason the intelligence apparatus has tuned Ruto to talk about "Singapore."

It is because they know "Singapore" is a dream of dignity.

The intelligence system knows Kenyans won't be moved by the usual political rhetoric. So, they are attempting to change the game and manipulate citizens' minds.

The current politicians are still one generation behind. They can't move this country beyond "Katiba Mpya."

On the other side, the opposition is clueless. They have no idea about anything. They have no dream, no vision and no ideology to pursue.

The entire political structure is filled with liars and hypocrites.

They treat citizens with contempt.

Citizens want respect.

Citizens want a genuine grassroots movement that will restore dignity in their soil, pockets and tables.
