@nicksortor@zerohedge Need to create a gofundme for this stalwart hero. Let’s make this man rich and normalize these type of men. He displayed the type of bravery that built this country and is lost on most of today’s society.
"You know, we're winning a lot. Lots of winning. Nobody's ever seen anything like it. Iran wants to make a deal. Maybe I'll let em' make a deal, who knows. Wouldn't it be nice if we made a deal? Wouldn't that be nice? I told them I should get a No-bel-Peace-Priizee when this is over. They should be thanking me. They really should. They have thanked me"
I feel that brother! What a beauty! The e46 M3 is such a driver's car. I sold my blacked out mint 03' six years ago to make room for a Gallardo. I should have just stored it offsite and kept it. Out of everything I've driven/owned, these just have a very special feel to them. I miss it like crazy. Silky smooth. Future classic without a doubt.
Bad Monkey is an absolute must see if you’re a Vince Vaughan fan at all, he’s at his prime in it. Jon Hamm’s new one Friends and Neighbors is pretty good so far, appeals to our Wall Street world with him playing a disgraced hedge fund manager turned thief, having to resort robbing his well heeled associates to survive…starts off a little slow, but is picking up by the second episode.
Laughable. The modern Fed is nothing but a political pundit. Pull the tape of Powell and Yellen constantly parroting a narrative that inflation wasn't hot when it was clear that it was extremely elevated & accelerating, and they should have been long since been cutting rates, instead of jawboning to protect the Biden admin. These people are anything but honest. When the levy broke, Powell and company lacked the balls to come into the hike with a significant rate increase to stifle inflation, and instead chose to meet past extreme policy actions and late reaction, with slow and mild action. I hypothesized about this with @Pentosh1 in our paper released in 21' that an engineered crash of sorts would likely be necessary to settle the severity of the current inflationary environment. The idea of a soft landing after such extreme policy actions for years was nothing but a fool's errand. This is simply physics at work in the financial markets in the form of Newton's first and third laws. Kudos to the Trump admin for having the balls to take said action. The right thing to do, is far too often not the popular thing to do. I imagine the tariffs will eventually be walked back to a more balanced state once the needful is done, and their disinflationary and reshoring goals will be achieved two fold.
@twobitidiot@SenWarren You've received a lot of hate, which is a shame, given you are probably the single individual the most responsible for galvanizing the new admin into our favor. I appreciate your contributions. This sector owes you a great debt, no doubt.
If you want to make the most and RETAIN it, you need not guess, just pay attention to what the Fed is saying. Trying to time an exact bottom or top is as rare as a perfect season in any sport. For now, higher for longer is their signal. Follow the Fed, do not fight them.
For anyone paying attention - be careful with your FOMO here. I see a lot of individuals celebrating the end of inflation, and the start of the bull market. Even if inflation has topped, we have a long ways to go. It could be littered with random spikes on the way down.
What you are seeing currently is irrational exuberance. Also, I cannot emphasize enough, that a pause, when it comes, is not truly a pivot. The Fed will give a clear signal to the market when they are ready to consider lowering rates.
Listen, if you think anything Powell just said has a dovish connotation, I have ocean front property in Arizona to sell you. That was as direct and intentional a hawkish scud straight into the doubters as you will ever see from Powell.
