Work to clear the rubble is ongoing at the site of a Russian missile strike on a residential building in Pryluky. As of now, 18 people have been reported killed, four of them children: Oleksandr, Kyrylo, and Serhii, who were only one year old, and eight-year-old Maksym. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured, including seven children. All emergency services are involved and working at the site. Fifteen people were rescued, including one child. There are still people who have not yet been accounted for.

The Russians know very well that they are striking ordinary cities, ordinary life. And the continued use of missiles against Ukraine, against our people, our children, is an absolutely deliberate choice of terror. This is what Moscow chooses – despite all our efforts with partners to bring peace closer. And this is a clear reason why more pressure on Russia is needed and why Ukraine needs more defense packages. It is important that leaders understand this. It is important that the world not remain silent today.

Трійка знищила точки зльоту дронів елітного російського підрозділу «Рубікон» — їх зняли з напрямку. Вперше роботизовані БТР-60 підірвали найскладніші укріплення ворога. Штурмовики прорвали його найміцніші вузли оборони.

Росіяни залишилися без очей, без броні й зрештою — без цілих рот. 250 окупантів здалися, щоб вижити. І все це — поки ворог стирав свої резерви на хибному напрямку.

Третій армійський корпус звільнив Нове, Рідкодуб і Катеринівку та відновив контроль над Карпівкою і Новомихайлівкою. Втрати противника — 2000 живою силою, понад 250 росіян захоплені в полон. Так закінчився третій сезон «Вівальді», переломний для всієї операції.

Ми повернули ще 51 км² української землі, а від початку наступальних дій — 176 км².

Головною ціллю третього сезону «Вівальді» стало Нове — ключовий хаб противника на плацдармі. Хто контролює висоти довкола цього населеного пун��ту, той і володіє ініціативою на плацдармі, — розповів командир Третього армійського корпусу Білецький.

«Противник був переконаний, що основним напрямком удару є Шандриголове — Зелена Долина. Це змусило його безглуздо спалити свої резерви в контратаках саме на цьому напрямку. Росіяни проспали справжній удар, який був зосереджений на взятті Нового», — заявив бригадний генерал Андрій Білецький.

Для прориву оборони противника Третій армійський корпус застосував власний винахід — радянські БТР-60, перетворені на роботизовані комплекси-камікадзе. Ними підірвали найміцніші укріплення ворога.

Росіяни здавалися у полон цілими підрозділами разом із офіцерами, пілотами, артилеристами.

Ключову роль у третьому сезоні «Вівальді» зіграли бійці Третьої штурмової бригади, які продемонстрували високий бойовий дух і професіоналізм.

3-й прикордонний загін імені Героя України полковника Євгенія Пікуса відновив повний контроль над Рідкодубом та швидко встановив оборону на нових рубежах. Активну участь у штурмових діях взяв 10-й мобільний прикордонний загін «ДОЗОР».

3 days ago, Russia launched 40 ballistic missiles into Kyiv, Ukraine, striking civilian districts in the Ukrainian capital, and the oldest @McDonalds in Ukraine, underscoring the human and symbolic cost of Moscow’s war.

The McDonalds in Kyiv, Ukraine’s very first, opened in 1997, has become one of the most resilient symbols of defiance during the war. The restaurant has sustained damage at least seven times since the full-scale invasion began, most recently from blast waves during a massive strike on May 24, 2026, its 29th anniversary. Workers sheltered safely, and despite the structural damage and holes in the building from shrapnel, the restaurant opened days later.

McDonald’s represents one of the most recognizable American brands globally, and it has come to be known as a symbol for U.S. entrepreneurship, fast service, and consumer culture. Its golden arches stand as a post-Soviet emblem of openness and Western integration in Ukraine. In stark contrast, McDonald’s no longer operates under its name in Russia after exiting the market in 2022 amid US sanctions and widespread condemnation of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Across Ukraine, American and Western businesses, alongside countless local enterprises, have been damaged or destroyed by Russian strikes on cities far from the front lines. Malls, supermarkets, offices, and restaurants have all been caught in the crossfire of Russian ballistic missiles, drones, and glide bombs targeting civilian infrastructure.

These attacks on ordinary gathering places, where families eat, students meet, and workers grab quick meals, sends a clear message. Russia is not an ally of the United States or the West. By striking symbols of Western presence and normal civilian life, and by firing at American businesses, Moscow demonstrates contempt for the very idea of a prosperous, Western-oriented Ukraine.

Ukrainian resilience remains undiminished, and that is what I have noticed on day 2 of my time in Ukraine.
Despite nonstop attacks, the Ukrainian people are determined to continue living their life.

McDonald’s Ukraine serves burgers under a sign warped by past explosions, and it is a daily reminder that life, and American-inspired enterprise, persists amid the rubble and destruction inflicted by Russia. It’s also a reminder that Russia wants to destroy American businesses.

Kyiv’s McDonalds is not collateral damage. It is the deliberate targeting of a society trying to live normally and free from communism.

The world should take note.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Even though I never eat fast food, I ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a Diet Coke to show my support.

❗️Михайла Федорова запитали про корупцію: Хто з ко��упціонерів чи їхніх фірм причетний до його звільнення?

Даємо відповідь повністю:

▪️З першого дня ми запустили нову систему закупівель, яка ґрунтується на даних. Раніше Генштаб писав перелік компаній і виробів, у яких потрібно щось купити. Ми вирішили, що потрібно купувати у топ-10 найякісніших компаній по кожній категорії. Тому 80% дронів закуповується у топів, бо на фронті було багато мотлоху. А 20% - на тендерах.

▪️Другий крок. Ми запустили відкриті тендери. Спершу купили 155-мм снаряди. Одна з компаній була проти тендеру, але все ж прийшла на тендер і знизила ціну кожного снаряду на 1000 доларів. Ми зекономили більше 100 млн доларів лише на артилерії.

Потім ми запустили тендер н�� 160 тисяч мідл-страйк дронів. Подалось 59 компаній. Це наша конкурентна перевага. Економія буде на 20-30%. Якщо тут буде бюджет 20+ млрд грн, то 20% економії - це великі кошти, які можна інвестувати у щось інше.

▪️Ми зупинили велику кількість контрактів, які напряму підписувались певними українськими компаніями з іноземцями. Про які я навіть не знав, коли прийшов.

Ми поступали погано, як держава, що ламаємо бізнес-стратегії деяких компаній, але з іншого боку, як я можу сказати купити снаряди, які у нас в профіциті, хоча при цьому у нас є дефіцит інших снарядів?

Ми намагались запустити максимальну кількість тендерів і на діп-страйки і на FPV, бо це велика еконо��ія і можливість компаній брати участь у вільному ринку.

▪️Корупції багато насправді. Були начальники департаментів Міноборони, які насправді призначались певними приватними компаніями. Це були начальники департаментів, які не ходять на наради Міноборони без співробітників певних правоохоронних органів. Ми почали звільняти, звільняти, звільняти цих людей.

Один раз був випадок, коли обговорювався прямий контракт з конкретною компанією, у якої хотіли щось купити. Був лист від БЕБ про те, що ця компанія має маржинальність на рівні 200-300%. Належить відомій особі, яка не живе в Україні.

It has been a great honor to serve the Ukrainian people as the Minister of Defense.

Here is what our team managed to achieve:

1. Disabled Starlink access for Russian forces.

2. Took over a Ministry of Defense with zero budget, took a risk, reallocated funds from payroll from the end of the year, and effectively invested them in mid-strike capabilities, fiber-optic FPVs, low-cost reconnaissance, ground robotic platforms, interceptor drones, and deep-strike drones.

3. Launched "Logistical Lockdown", this cut off enemy logistics and initiated the isolation of Crimea.

4. Continued the funding program for the Drone Line.

5. Launched a support program for modern drone-assault units that rely primarily on advanced technologies in combat.

6. Introduced a 70% advance payment policy for procurements made via e-Points on the Brave1 Market portal.

7. Fundamentally overhauled the procurement system.

8. Procured thousands of pickup trucks, buggies, and ATVs for the military for the first time—and did so through open tenders.

9. The drone interception rate rose from 83% to 91%, and the cruise missile interception rate soared from 47% to 87%.

10. Contracted Patriot PAC-2 GEM-T missiles for the first time, and submitted an application through an EU loan to purchase PAC-3 missiles.

11. Launched a baseline drone supply system for brigades and corps.

12. Launched a massive grant program for manufacturers of explosives and missiles.

13. Initiated an unpopular but vital transformation of the military.

14. Conducted three UDCG meetings, where we successfully broke through the Russian information trap claiming our defeat, restoring partners' faith in Ukraine. This secured $40 billion in support announced for this year (excluding the EU loan).

15. Launched the mechanism to utilize the EU loan for our military priorities.

16. Found a way to scale cheap missiles against jet-powered Shaheds and signed a record-breaking contract.

17. Our domestic ballistics. We radically revised the technical specifications, maximized accuracy, and reduced the cost by 30%.

18. Signed a contract to procure Gripen fighter jets.

19. Collaborated with the military to plan and execute Operation Auchan, which halted the enemy's mechanized offensive for six months.

20. Opened up exports under the Drone Deal program to attract investment and scale up domestic defense-industrial complex (OPK) production.

21. Launched the Trophy Lab, providing partners with the opportunity to study captured Russian military technologies.

22. Launched the Defense AI Center A1 to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence on the battlefield.
