I've got great news! I finished my #fantasy trilogy AND the second edition of book 1. Check it out -- you can pay what you want for the eBooks on my site. Throw me a few bucks and/or a 5 star review if you can :)

@ArturSmiarowski Largely, you are right. But there are a few holdouts. I run /r/roguelites and I don't let the usual suspects ruin it with political nonsense.
I will keep doing this for as long as I am allowed to.
@LifeArtStudios My suspicion is that they were offered funding behind scenes as long as they promote the politics. Nobody would sabotage their project out of nowhere without some side benefit.
@songeternal@Grummz They do the opposite of their job. It's like if a garbage man showed up at your house and dumped four tons of trash onto your lawn instead of taking your trash away.
Godot community manager creates HUGE crisis for open source game engine.
What started off as virtue signaling with multiple rainbow flags and naming the engine Wokot has turned into a media disaster and the CEO desperately trying to calm devs.
The CM went on a huge blocking spree for innocuous questions and mild criticism, including myself yesterday, for pointing out that virtue signaling is poor marketing move in the current game climate.
This is why you never hire rainbow activists to represent you.
@godotengine I'm laughing thinking about the degenerate soy-creature running this account, angrily clicking the "hide reply" button on everything xe disagrees with. This is what happens when you control nothing else in your life, brother. Sad!
@Grummz@SoulashGame I can confirm that the /r/roguelikes mods are zealous far-left ideologues who ban anyone who disagrees with them. They have been a good example of how not to run a sub - and as a result, I run /r/roguelites (my sub) very differently than them. Very bad people.
@ChillChillin2 @ArturSmiarowski These mods are the worst kind of leftist - exclusionary, and hyper-ready to call anybody they don't like a "nazi." I suspect most if not all of them have severe personality disorders (narcissism, psychopathy). There is a reason why they aren't welcome on my sub, /r/roguelites.
@ArturSmiarowski Hey there. Feel free to post on /r/roguelites -- I own that sub. I've had a lot of run-ins with the /r/roguelikes mods and I can confirm that they're deranged, hypocritical scumbags. One of them, Kyzrati, actually has his own game in the sidebar - a clear conflict of interest.
Hey everyone, I just picked up a copy of Chateau Cascade. Iโd definitely give it a look ๐ if youโre into fantasy novels ๐๐งโโ๏ธ

@sensicough@BIPOCracism This whole "hateful" thing is so unbelievably dumb. Suddenly just about anything can be classed as "hateful" and then it magically becomes justified to censor it. Interesting that nobody ever bothers to really define what "hate" means. Power word.
@SuperflyGlass @JosephTarshish @ramzpaul Tossed him a follow because he seems like a cool guy. Thanks for posting this salty reply because otherwise I wouldn't have thought to do that!
@Afropatriot19 @stonetoss I have a writeup on this. The shortest answer I can think of: you can't send ten million dollars worth of gold around the world without tremendous hassle. Bitcoin lets you send any amount in five minutes.
This form of "superior moneyness" gives it value.

@alzo555@BretWeinstein@LozzaFox Entitled? No. "Oh, they're a private company, they can do what they want." Stupid. Big tech monopolies directly beholden to the government aren't just "private companies." Utility. Duty to serve.
Also: financial deplatforming is a form of censorship.
