August 2026 marks the 105th anniversary of our branch formation. Plans are afoot for a fundraiser stall #NewMalden High St.
We’re also busy working on Remembrance parade & civic ceremony arrangements for this important year in our history.

We will gather at #NewMalden Memorial on Sat. 25th April at 10.50am to mark #ANZACDay with wreath-laying & silence observed. ANZAC stands for Australian & New Zealand Army Corps. A special commemoration this year being 110 yrs since 25th April officially named Anzac Day in 1916.
Our branch Treasurer & Poppy Appeal Organiser, Jan Feist, has received one of @RBKMayor ‘s Community Awards.

Branch meeting date change … for this month only our branch meeting will be held on a Tuesday rather than Wednesday.
Branch members to gather at usual time of 2pm at Grafton Club meeting room.
As part of International Women's Day, we remember the 200 women who protested the arrest of around 2,000 Jewish men, outside a building on Rosenstraße in Berlin.

With the Holocaust memorial tree being inaccessible atm due to construction works in #Kingston Memorial Gardens, we have laid a wreath at #NewMalden Memorial to commemorate #Holocaust Memorial Day which marks over 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Members attended interesting @PoppyLegion Surrey County Conference y’day. Potential National Conference motions discussed, presentations made + visiting speakers incl. National Chair. Thanks to Windlesham branch for hosting.
