Shamefully charges have been dropped against IDF soldiers caught on camera raping a Palestinian detainee.

The message this sends a horrific and chilling message - rape with impunity.

Across detention and interrogation centers in Israel, thousands of Palestinians remain held, many without charge, facing reports of abuse, humiliation, and violence.

Even more disturbing were the protests that defended the “right” of soldiers accused of rape. This level of they brutality and dehumanization has no precedent.

Condemn it. Speak up . Demand action.

Israel has launched military strikes against Iran in blatant violation of international law.

We are witnessing the destruction of international law in real time. There was no imminent attack, no clear evidence of a nuclear strike , yet a sovereign state has been attacked.

Once again , 60 civilians have been sentenced by a Military Court in Pakistan.

These trials held in secret, and based on purported confessions adduced through torture are a complete violation of the right to fair trial and international human rights principles.

These lives of Hassan Niazi, Haider Majeed, Abad Farooq and many others are scarred as they remain incarcerated through trials which is a black mark on our legal system.

The superior judiciary of Pakistan remains a bystander in this injustice.

Trial of civilians by Military Courts is unlawful.

Shocked and angered by the arrest of our brave social media activist Arooba Komal who only used her right to free speech and supported Pakistans largest political party.

Being a free thinker, patriot and an activist is a crime in Pakistan under this fascist regime. Arooba is one of the most law abiding and upright individuals I know. It is shameful that current regime continues a brutal crackdown against young social media activists belonging to PTI.

I watched the press conference of PMLN women Parliamentarians and Minister regarding the deep fake video campaign against Azma Bokhari.

As a Woman and lawyer, I also condemn this vilification campaign against Azma Bokhari.

I want to use this opportunity to remind PMLN leaders that respect of all women irrespective of their political affiliation is important. PMLN leaders have a history of attacking women in public office, and associated social media accounts have undertaken targeted campaign against Bushra Bibi, @KanwalMna @zartajgulwazir and many others with impunity. PMLN must carry out introspection and identification of those who run hate campaigns against women belonging to PTI within their ranks.

Last year @KanwalMna and I were the target of the most horrific and filthy deep fake video campaign campaign on social media platforms. The campaign was initiated and propagated by social media accounts associated with PMLN and followed by its leaders including Maryam Nawaz. To date the perpetrators remain free and have not been held to account. Shameful and condemnable.

FIA continues to be used as a political tool against PTI and to curb dissent but has failed to protect the rights of women in the online space despite wide powers.

All political parties must undertake collective efforts to put an end to this culture of harassment and character vilification of women in public office. Those who break the law must be held accountable.

This dark video capturing a horrific and brutal murder is yet another charge sheet against a justice system that is failing to protect women and girls across Pakistan.

Noor, Sarah, Fatima, Rizwana, Qandeel, and many more innocent victims who lost their lives because the state failed to protect them.
Women are not safe within their homes.

This innocent 22 year old girl was allegedly raped by her brother and then murdered for reporting this crime. Violence against women continues unabated as policies and sexual violence laws remain unimplemented.

In 2024, as women across the world are leading and occupying positions of power, some of us are fighting for our basic right to live and be safe in homes.
