SoV (Store of Value) assets inherently will have higher price volatility than centralized fiat currency.
That sounds counterintuitive right? Shouldn't a SoV be "stable value?"
If the price was stable that would mean it's centrally controlled, which is the opposite of what makes it a good store of value.
In other words, SoV is about the credibility that an asset can't be control, and that the monetary policy can't be altered easily.
Is it a coincidence that everyone talks about how the "trenches are back" just in time for a $125,000,000 USD token unlock for Pumpfun team and early investors?
Imagine being 9 or 11 years old, super excited for the Finals, staying next to your favorite player… only to be kicked out over a polite “Good luck” 😢
Those kids lost their hero today. My heart goes out to them.

A young Knicks fan and his dad got evicted from a penthouse because dad said “Good luck big guy” to Wemby.
This story is going viral for a reason. Is Wembanyama in the right or did he overreact massively? Vote in the comments 👇

🚨🏀 Wemby KICKS FANS OUT for “Good Luck” comment.
Phil Godlewski stayed with his son and friend in a penthouse before the NBA Finals game.
His friend encountered Spurs star Wemby walking out the door, telling him “Good Luck tonight big guy”.
Wemby went downstairs and got the group immediately KICKED OUT the hotel.
What do you think about this behavior, and is it acceptable?

I’ve seen people defend it, criticize it, argue about it… but at the core, it’s simple .Treat people right. That’s it. Doesn’t matter how famous you are, how much money you have 💰basic respect isn’t optional. And when it’s missing like this? People feel it immediately @alanrog3
@amandakmom@alanrog3 Exactly, fans show up every game and you don’t disrespect that. Treating them like that breaks the whole connection between player and crowd.
No way to sugarcoat this — it’s a terrible look 😡 Kicking out a paying guest because you feel like it? That’s not leadership, that’s entitlement. You don’t get a pass just because you’re a star Actions like this deserve real consequences, not silence ⚖️ #WembySaySorry@alanrog3
The more this story sinks in, the worse it looks. there were so many ways to handle this differently, and you chose the one that puts a fan out for no real reason. that’s a decision 🤨 #WembySaySorry@alanrog3
Lowkey torn on this one… but still, kicking someone out feels extreme 😶🌫️ Hope there’s more to the story, because right now it’s not a good look at all @alanrog3#WembySaySorry
This wasn’t just a bad decision… it was a careless one 😤🧠❌ Like nobody stopped for a second and thought about how this would look or feel for the other person 🏨➡️🚪 That’s the part that stands out the most — the complete lack of consideration 👀 #WembySaySorry@alanrog3
So a guy pays $20K for a Ritz-Carlton penthouse during the Finals, gets placed next to Wemby, someone says “Good luck tonight, big guy,” and suddenly the whole group is out? That’s not security. That’s rich people theater. @JaMorant#WembySaySorry

This is crazy if even half of it is true
A father says he paid $20K for a Ritz-Carlton penthouse in NYC to take his 11-year-old son to Game 4 of the NBA Finals, then his friend sees @Wemby in the hallway and says, “good luck tonight, big guy.” That was it.
Ten minutes later, hotel management knocks on the door and tells the whole family to leave because they were supposedly “harassing and waiting for players.” The father asks them to check the cameras, they tell him there are no cameras on that floor, then he looks up and sees one right above them.
His son was a Wemby fan. Had the jersey, signed gear, everything. The father says the kid burned it when they got home.
NY Post already covered this and Ritz-Carlton/Wemby’s side still haven’t answered. NBA players should pay attention here because getting a family with kids kicked out over “good luck” is ridiculous.
