@EYakoby@StellaPaulNY Not weird. The podcasters never cared what happened to the young women. For them, it is a political wedge issue and a way to gain viewer$.

A Strange Morning in Israel: We Woke Up Alone
This morning in Israel feels strangely quiet. We woke up… alone.
Trump says he still supports us, and on some level, I believe he does. He wants peace. That desire is commendable. But he has yet to learn the painful truth: peace for one is not always peace for another.
The comfort? Whatever Washington decides, Israel remains a sovereign nation — never the 51st state, not now, not ever. Our future is ours to shape. Not Tehran’s. Not even Washington’s.
Today, our sons — our flesh and blood — stand watch in Lebanon. They will remain there until the Lebanese finally do what they promised long ago: remove Hezbollah from the south and disarm the terrorists who keep attacking our northern families.
Even after the agreement, the rockets continued.
The world is celebrating a “peace” that we know will bring none. Trump, the ultimate businessman, seems to have been charmed by the familiar shuk mentality of this region.
The Iranians aren’t freely opening the Straits — they’re demanding an “insurance fee.” Call it what it is: an old-fashioned protection racket.
He proudly declared, “This historic agreement will bring peace and security to the entire region.” Nonsense. Beautiful, dangerous nonsense.
And so Israel stands alone once more… and somehow, we smile.
We weren’t invited to the party, so we are not bound by its terms. Trump called Netanyahu “a very difficult person.”
You’re no great shakes yourself, sir.
He also claimed that if Iran had nuclear weapons, Israel “wouldn’t have lasted even two hours.” At that, Israel simply smiles wider.
Because the sun is shining on our beautiful land.
We ate breakfast, went to work, and watched our children speak the ancient tongue of their ancestors. The olives on my tree are swelling (though I still hate them), and the land blooms with stubborn life.
The ballistic missile restrictions were quietly forgotten. The Iranians who took to the streets, praying for the West to return their country to them, have been abandoned too.
We are alone -as we have been for centuries.
Alone when we left Egypt.
Alone when we walked out of the ghettoes and the camps.
But here is our eternal secret: the Jewish people are never truly alone. We have each other.
The future does not rest in Trump’s hands. It rests in God’s. Whether or not America has pulled back, we know — with every beat of our hearts — that Hashem has not.
To live with such faith may seem strange to others. To us, it is the greatest gift.
Sign your papers. Open or close your straits. The future of Lebanon will not be decided in Tehran or Washington, but in Beirut and in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem does not tremble at words from Tehran, nor at anything coming from Switzerland — the land that still holds the stolen wealth of murdered Jews.
Today, the sky is almost cloudless. Our children are counting the days until summer vacation.
And we remember: no matter how alone we feel, we are never truly alone.
Our hearts ache for the people of Iran. They are the ones who have been truly abandoned.
Am Yisrael Chai. We live. We endure. And we will thrive.
HUCKABEE: ISRAEL DOES NOT NEED IRAN’S PERMISSION
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee says Iran and Hezbollah are not linked in the reported deal.
Responding to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Huckabee wrote:
“Fortunately, @SecRubio made clear that Iran & Hezbollah aren’t linked in a deal. @Israel doesn’t need Iran’s permission to defend itself. The tether of terror must end.”
🏛️ These stones have not been moved. They fell when Rome destroyed the Temple in 70 CE and they are still exactly where they landed:
For nearly two thousand years, the street below has been buried and the stones have waited.
The Archaeological Park south of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem preserves one of the most physically immediate encounters with a specific moment in history that exists anywhere in the world. The massive limestone blocks visible in the park are Herodian stones that toppled from the Temple Mount wall during the Roman destruction and fell to the ancient street below, where they were eventually buried by rubble and later excavations.
Israeli archaeologists who uncovered them in the 1960s and 1970s made the decision to leave them in place rather than move them, understanding that their position told a story no exhibit could adequately replace.
The stones are identifiable as Herodian by the characteristic marginal draft: the smooth chisel-cut border running around each block's face, visible despite two thousand years of exposure. The street they fell onto was a major Herodian-era boulevard, and sections of its original paving survive beneath the fallen blocks.
Among the discoveries in the same area was a Hebrew inscription carved into a stone from the staircase, quoting Isaiah 66:14, "You shall see and your heart shall rejoice," which scholars believe was added by a Jewish visitor in the Byzantine period who came to this spot to mourn and found a reason for hope in the ruins. ✡️
The stones of the Temple's destruction are still lying in the street where they fell two thousand years ago.

A hidden world lies just beneath the surface.
These stunning underwater photographs were captured by 16-year-old Adam Sharif from Kibbutz Gesher HaZiv, who combines his passion for free diving and photography to reveal the remarkable marine life of the Mediterranean Sea.
Through his lens, Adam hopes to show what many never get the chance to see: the vibrant and diverse ecosystem thriving just off Israel’s coast.
Take a moment to explore the beauty beneath the waves.
This week, the Sharabi and Askapa families’ home in Kibbutz Be’eri was demolished. What was once a vibrant home filled with life and memories was turned into a scene of horror by Hamas terrorists on October 7.
For @EliSharabi7 , these ruins hold the memories of his wife, Lianne, and daughters, Noiya and Yahel, who Hamas murdered. Eli survived captivity in Gaza and continues his long journey to rebuild his life.
Today, the ruins are being cleared. But from this destruction, something new will rise, a new chapter built on resilience, hope, and the determination to keep living.

Two perfectly preserved marble statues from the Roman period have been found near Binyamina, marking what Israeli archaeologists are calling a once-in-a-lifetime discovery.
The busts, dating back approximately seventeen hundred years, were found during excavation work for a railway project. One bears a Greek inscription identifying it as Lycurgus. According to excavation director Avishag Reiss, nothing at this level of preservation has been found in the past thirty years. The statues, each weighing sixty kilograms, were mysteriously placed face down in an ancient Roman-Byzantine winepress pit, possibly hidden when marble was being stolen for other purposes. The statues will be presented to the public at the Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv.

ANCIENT SHILOH SPEAKS
U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee joined archaeologists at Ancient Shiloh, near the site where the Tabernacle once stood.
Just days earlier, three ancient jars were uncovered there containing olives, lentils, and wheat — living evidence of Jewish life in the biblical heartland.
@GovMikeHuckabee said it best:
“You can break a pottery vessel, but these people are going to put it back together. There have been so many attempts over hundreds of years to break Israel, to break the Jewish people, but God will restore it.”
History is not buried here.
It is coming back to life.
One of the most remarkable stories to emerge from Hamas captivity.
While many hostages reported pressure to convert to Islam, Maxim Harkin chose to pretend to convert in order to gain access to information and better understand what was happening around him.
He has spoken not of revenge, but of his belief that good ultimately triumphs over evil.
