700 tons of explosives.
Israel detonated 700 tons of explosives beneath Beaufort Castle in South Lebanon, in the middle of the night.
A 900-year-old Crusader castle that UNESCO just listed as endangered heritage.
The West was incensed when the Taliban blew up the Buddhist Bamiyan statues in Afghanistan.
Crickets as Israel blows up a UNESCO heritage site in Lebanon.
If we’re Making America Healthy Again, government shouldn't be promoting glyphosate and providing liability immunity for corporations making it.
Thank you to @RepHankJohnson for cosponsoring the No Immunity for Glyphosate Act.
It seems like we are experiencing a lot of health issues related to dirty water and air. We should set up some kind of a national center for preventing and controlling diseases to address this.
Just to clarify, because everyone now seems VERY confused:
Taylor Farms de Mexico has still been implicated in this cyclospora outbreak. The recall of shredded iceberg lettuce from last week still stands.
The false positive test was on lettuce coming over the border from Mexico that was NOT part of the recall. If that positive had been accurate, it would have meant *more* lettuce needed to be recalled.
In foodborne illness outbreaks *we often do not ever get positive tests to tie product to illness* especially for highly perishable products like lettuce. It's common to rely on other epidemiological evidence, as FDA and CDC are doing here.
Prediction: This is a public health communications nightmare that will be studied for a long time.
The House is scheduled to vote this week on a National Defense Authorization that would integrate our military tech & supply chains with Israel’s.
Today, the Rules Committee will decide whether my amendment to strip section 219 will get a vote.
RT to support the Massie amdt.!
The surgical mask shown in this article will do almost nothing to reduce particulate inhalation because it's just a splash guard. Wear a well-fitted N95 respirator or better https://t.co/1RiH1ihmeZ
NEJM: 1 in 38 patients in US hospitals are infected as a result of their medical care.
Most hospital-acquired infections are not from a specific device or procedure.
Perhaps, laissez faire masking policies are woefully inadequate? 😷
If you're dodging fruits & vegetables to avoid illness, you might also consider wearing a well-fitting high-quality mask like an N95.
You are magnitudes more likely to get infected with SARS-CoV-2 than cyclospora. Long COVID & excess deaths from COVID remain considerable.

@broadwaybabyto Even if you have an advocate they will often push back hard to override anything and everything you advocate for, even to the point of doing things they know are detrimental to the patient in secret.
@broadwaybabyto And it's not just "quoted as saying in the report" - you can hear him say it on the police body cam. Total arrogance and refusal to listen to anyone else once he had made up his mind about the situation. Horrible. He should not just lose his license, he should go to prison IMO.
It appears that stopping a flesh eating parasite from spreading across the continent was, in fact, NOT waste, fraud, and abuse.

He's burning our forests, setting cyanide bombs to kill wildlife in national forests, selling off our national parks & stealing the entry fees for vanity projects, poisoning the pristine artic with dirty oil & gas drilling, and poisoning our food with RoundUp. It's so sickening.
Trying to talk to some public health professionals about aerosol science is like watching someone stand in a room full of cigarette smoke while explaining that the real danger is touching the ashtray.
It's widely accepted that hantavirus transmits from rodent excreta to humans via inhalation of aerosolized virus, so I don't understand why we're so reluctant to acknowledge the inhalation route for human-to-human transmission.

Reminder:
One study showed 96% of commercial flights had Covid on board
And long flights ⬆️ transmission 26X
There's a good chance that virtually 100% of commercial flights have at least one communicable disease on board
Wear an N95 when flying
"Gate to gate" at least
