The comparisons between Nintendo and Rockstar don't even make sense.
Nintendo released Mario Kart World at launch at $80 due to the price of the physical media. Rockstar is releasing GTA VI at $80 with a code in the box to recoup the games $2B development cost.
@VGamingJunkie@Db_DocGracie@AAtomicGames@JillQueen31 literally happens on any console with license checks for games.
people with modded switch 1s have dumped their game cards and resold them after which leads to things like that happening.
you can literally call nintendo and get unbanned, they don't brick the damn consoles.
Someone built a Steam Machine clone with similar performance for just $700.
The case is 3D-printed, and the only thing you have to do is install SteamOS and you’re good to go!

It’s even funnier comparing gta 80 dollars to Mario kart 80 dollars when you had a choice to get Mario kart for 50 dollars. But you wanted physical so you spent 80. Meanwhile you spend 80 for gta and get a code in the box and missing content if you don’t spend 100
Remember when Game-Key Cards were “the death of physical media”? Now people are ready to pay $80 for GTA VI, $100 for the Ultimate Edition, and accept a box with nothing but a download code.
Funny how outrage disappears when it’s Rockstar.
Consistency matters.
The problem with misinformation in tweets like these happening all the time is that, joke or not, people believe it’s true. Then you end up with folks making full videos and arguments about it. I’ve even had folks thinking that every game was 80 dollars. Every game is on key card, just because of rage bait
