Lane Johnson is a special player, but more importantly a special person! I love him like a brother!
For the past decade, Lane has been the best Right tackle in the NFL. His athleticism, technique, strength, and size, combined to make him a player few could get around. His pass set and movements looked more like an art than someone who punched people for a living. It was a pure joy to watch him play for all these years, but even more so, it was a pure joy to be his friend. Lane could make me laugh, cry, and smile all in a matter of hours. In the meeting room cracking jokes, in his car listening to country music lyrics, at the cafeteria talking about life, I cherish the memories, they give me so much joy. Congratulations on retirement, I loved ever second of watching you play, and am proud that I got to share the field with you @LaneJohnson65
Lane turned this franchise around…
2 Super Bowl Champion
6x Pro Bowler
2x First Team All Pro
3x Second Team All Pro
3x NFC Champion
See you in Canton 🐐
Lane Johnson wasn’t just good.
Lane Johnson wasn’t just great.
Lane Johnson wasn’t just elite.
Lane Johnson is one of the greatest players in the history of the National Football League.
Philly legend. Eagles legend.
Wish him the best in retirement.
It is extremely rare to come across a player like @LaneJohnson65. Extremely rare
In the spring of 2013, I found myself on a field in East Texas working out a young Lane Johnson. I believe he was 22 years old
All these years later, to say I am proud of the career you built and the man you became would be an understatement. A Hall of Fame career. It’s been a privilege and honor to have coached you.
I am so proud of you, Lane
Lane Johnson played 11,917 snaps in his 14 year career, he allowed only 295 pressures (2.4%) and allowed just 33 sacks (0.02%). We’ll never see another like him.
if you watched the NFL and thought something didn't feel right, you're not alone:
#1 most flags in over a decade
thru 4 weeks, refs are impacting the most CRITICAL moments of games most:
#1 most red zone penalties per game by offenses in history
#1 most penalties on 3rd/4th downs in the second half of games in history
and 17 touchdowns nullified by penalty! (vs only 5 in 2025 & 4 in 2024)
Refs are impacting the most important moments of games unlike we've ever seen before in the NFL, and even some of the coaches are speaking up

Dear NFL teams… once you suspect there is an offensive holding penalty, feel free to get a cheap personal foul in. They’re offsetting so it’s the perfect opportunity to get some free licks in.
The fact that those penalties are offsetting is not only dumb, it’s reckless.
Absolute fucking disgrace.
NFL just decides that your QB has to come out in the red zone because he was on the receiving end of a dirty hit which is also offset by a bullshit holding call.
This league is a fucking joke.
Must have been Too much money on the eagles with this one way street for very debatable penalties.
Still, you gotta be able to beat Case Keenum and the Refs here.
