This afternoon we officially launched Parisio, The Malta Review of Foreign Affairs - a new annual publication by @MFTmalta.

This publication highlights #Malta and Maltese diplomacy, reflecting its socio-political heritage - a modest yet rich legacy that firmly embraces a principled approach to politics, a steadfast rejection of war and violence, and an unwavering faith in multilateralism and international law.

Malta strongly condemns the missile attack by Iran on Israel. They must be stopped immediately.

Our solidarity is with the Israeli people, as well as with all communities in the region facing ongoing violence.

This continuing escalation needs to stop.
The consequences of widening regional conflict would be disastrous for all the peoples of the region.

We call on all parties to carefully consider the immediate and long-term ramifications of their decisions.

We reiterate our call for the release of all hostages, an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, increased humanitarian aid to people in these conflict zones and for meaningful dialogue towards lasting solutions.
