It was called AOL and there were dozens of chatrooms literally anyone could join, and you'd be 15 years old, talking to some entire stranger who was probably 45 and they'd ask you A/S/L

@SilthulhuSims @Cinderellimouse I’ve always been such a pro Sims person. For years, it was the only game I even played but I’ve moved over to Stardew and I just can’t get myself to switch back. I really hate timed events forcing people into something and if they can’t participate then they just miss out.

@DeeSimsYT Yes! Thats why I use the kindle fire because I love seeing the color on the screen. I’ve tried multiple times to do the paper white versions and just can’t get into them.

@Cinderellimouse Exactly! I’ve played since the Sims 1 and have bought every pack ever put out because I love the game. For years it was the only game I even played but this is just such a turn off for me. I keep saying it but I really hope they don’t keep doing this.

@Cinderellimouse @TheSims Exactly this! I work a full time stressful job, elderly parents to care for and just life, it’s not a fair expectation to put on players to log in and play or miss out on content like it’s our fault we’re stuck dealing with life.
