त्यापैकी मुलांनी २ खाल्ले, शंका आली म्हणून २ तसेच ठेवले
ते वाळलेल्या गवतात तसेच बॉक्स मध्ये ठेवले
आज एक महिन्यापेक्षा जास्त काळ लोटला
ते आंबे शेतकऱ्याकडून खरेदीदार व्यापारी, वाहतूक, विक्री करणारा घाऊक व्यापारी आणि किरकोळ विक्रेता असा प्रवास कमीत कमी आठ दिवसांचा
तोडणीनंतर आज एक महिना आठ दिवस झाले
आंबे सडले नाहीत
फक्त सुरकुतले!
असे काय आहे की ते सडत नाहीत
ते calcium carbide ने तर पिकवले नाहीत?
शक्यता जास्त!
हे रसायन भयानक आहे, त्याच्या वापरावर बंदी आहे!!
सर्वच हापूस आंबे असे नसतील
नैसर्गिकरित्या पिकवलेलेही असतील
पण रसायनांनी पिकविल्याचे काय?
ही calcium carbide बंदी अमलबजावणी करून आपल्या नैसर्गिक आंबे मिळण्यासाठी एफडीए आहे
त्यांचे आयुक्त आहेत!!!

काय हवं?
कडक अंमलबजावणी.
आकस्मिक धाडी.
कार्बाइडने पिकविलेले आंबे हद्दपार
शून्य सहनशीलता.
दोषींवर फौजदारी कारवाई.
नाहीतर—
हापूस राहणार फक्त नावात.
आणि आपल्या ताटात येणार
रंगीत, निर्जीव, रासायनिक फसवणूक.
…आणि विकतचे दुखणे!!!
