“You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

@fartface2000@TraceMayer@BTCsessions I don’t disagree with all that.
I am curious about his fall from grace, though. I would be a great story that I’m surprised nobody has asked yet.
He has something to do with Custodia iirc, perhaps he’s coming back to advertise them.
@Bitcornokun@notgrubles Some doctor who wrote a book recently compared a French fry with a cigarette, and I don’t mean the natural tobacco kind without additives.
I don’t even care if it’s hyperbole, it’s directionally correct, but tallow fried sounds great
@jordanurbs Planning on visiting with the family later this year. Did you need any of the recommended travel vaccines to enter? Does it seem like it’s even necessary there to have them. I don’t want to prick my kids any more and am wondering if they’re even necessary.
Greenpeace spent years lobbying to save Virunga park and failed
Leonardo DiCaprio spent millions on a documentary to try to save Virunga park and failed
@SebGouspillou a Bitcoin miner, said "we can monetize Virunga's stranded renewable energy to save the park" and succeeded

Since they've been thrust into the spotlight lately, I've been getting a lot of people asking me "What's wrong with seed oils"?
Let's begin with the disgusting way in which they are made:

Let me point out something about MSTR using a hypothetical example...
Imagine all the MSTR bitcoin is deposited to an address that has been genuinely "boat accidented". That is, no one has the private key. All the purchased bitcoin keeps going there and it's publicly auditable, and NOBODY knows the keys are gone.
Question - does it make ANY difference to the MSTR holder (or Saylor)?
I think it doesn't because they're never selling, and MSTR holders cannot call it out by withdrawing - all they can do is sell MSTR to someone else.
When you buy MSTR, you're entering a Ponzi, in a way. The profits are forever in dollars, a terminally ill and doomed currency. One day, you have to get out, and buy bitcoin with the profits, or you'll be left holding a mstr/dollar bag.
I suppose you legally have a right to the bitcoin, but they're never selling any. What can you actually enforce except dollar value? What about when dollars are worth zero?
I'm not sure how this will play out, and I'm giving no advice, just some thoughts.
Another Psychopath For US Secretary Of State
Psychopathy is almost a job requirement for secretary of state, because the title entails a responsibility for helping to roll out the violence and tyranny which serves as the glue that holds the US empire together.
