@SouthernProl He's getting those calls. Just call it fairly is all I'm saying. This was a clear as day foul, almost certainly a flagrant, and yet no whistle. And what about the six men on the court that burned a second off the clock? That's an objective call the refs blew in the Spurs favor.
@Anthonysmdoyle And what about the six men on the court? That's an objective mistake from the refs that favored the Spurs. We can all agree on that right?
@SpursReporter Wemby also has a fistful of Brunson's jersey at the beginning of the clip. So what's your point? Should Brunson have turned around and punched Wemby? A jersey grab would justify that reaction apparently.
Refs let them inbound.
Knicks had a wide open 3.
Spurs had 6 on the court.
Tech on the spurs at least? Nah let's do a do-over but take away a second from the shot clock for no reason
@getnickwright People keep dismissing the criticism by saying "Knicks were fouling a ton." I don't think anyone, even Knicks fans, are arguing the Knicks weren't fouling a ton. The issue is the Spurs were also fouling a ton but the refs swallowed their whistles on those plays.
@YahooSports Both of them are saying that the Knicks played sloppy and fouled. Brown just goes the next step to say that the Spurs weren't getting called for fouls. That's his job, it's Jalen's job to play. Brown has to try to hold the League accountable.
This was the worst of the worst. Harper runs on the court to force the refs to stop play and doesn't receive a tech, after the refs give brunson the ball to start the play.
Call it what you want, this is horrible, impactful moments that can sway a game
I know I sound like a broken record but Tyler Kolek solves this issue. He also solves the bad turnovers and the sloppy passes. He needs to see time in game four.
This was among the most lopsided, poorly officiated games I’ve ever seen. Here is a thread of all the terrible calls starting with Wemby chokeslamming Brunson. This was clean.
@cookiesguythere@jschwartz115 That the Spurs were being babysat by the refs. That there were egregious fouls that weren't called. That Wemby deserved at least two flagrants during the game. That there should've been a tech when the Spurs had six players on the court. That the reffing was lopsided.
