I get too excited to fire someone because of theft. Excited because I was able to find it quickly and stop someone from screwing me over. I take theft personally; this is my store.
@GenerationVoid If only that was actually accurate. I'm a retail manager of a company that pays their associates poorly (less than $10/hr). My husband's work pays $20-30/hr and they still have shortages; probably more than I do at times. Companies need to provide a better work environment first.
I have to get out of gas station management. I have alittle baby who needs stability. Anyone wanna offer me a convenient store related job that isn't salary or doesn't have weird or unusual hours and pays 40k or more a year... yeah didn't think so. To boring insurance it is. Lol
Atten convenient stores: do not put up hand written signs. Saw this beauty at a brand new store I visited; its tacky. Open a word document and hit print, simple. #nope
Well.. the dm position is already filled by the time I made contact with a friend in that company. Darn. I want to stay in the convenience store world but don't want to be a SM any more. Any suggestions?
Am I the only one who when I have more than my regular days off the more I look for a new job? It's like the longer I'm away the more I don't wanna go back. I applied for a dm position for another convenience company. π€
Anyone else burned out because of the past year? Covid has caused so many negatives to my business. I haven't been properly staffed in forever and its only getting worse and don't get me started on our customers. I want to give up on retail... but it's all I know.
@myworldtaw @PilotFlyingJ@GoToHucks Yes. The Pilot/Hucks that I have seen are off of the highway; none in town. The regular Hucks are in town away from the exits.
Okay, what are these Huck convenience store/Pilot fueling stations I've been seeing around KY? Like can you use both rewards apps at these stores? Is it a partnership? I have questions @PilotFlyingJ and @GoToHucks. P.S. this one was very nice. π
