Unfortunately our home game at Widnes against the @PhanParaHockey yesterday was called off due to rink problems, but we are currently looking into rearranging the fixture if possible. However, our next game is potentially our final home game v Sheffield on August 2nd at Widnes.
We are now days away from the first team of our Series 2 Trading Card collection being available for sale!
Our flagship All Star cards are back, boasting the teams star talent. Collect just your teams’ All Stars, or complete the collection of our 7 Elite League teams featuring Blindsides All Stars.
There will be all the usual favourite cards including signature series, poster cards and playmakers.
Series Two builds on your collection from Series One by introducing new insert cards in the form of 16 Bit and Ice Breakers.
There will also be more frequent numbered (1/1, 1/20 etc) cards being available to find.
We’ve however saved the best news for last. We are trialing Memorabilia cards for Nottingham, Manchester and Guildford this year with a view to an entire range launch next year.
The cards will feature player worn jerseys embedded professionally into the card, we can’t believe how good they look! You will LOVE them.
They are being produced in numerous amounts so everyone will have a good chance of obtaining one.
It’s back and it’s better than ever!

🎄 #12AcquisitionsOfChristmas 🎄
On the 9th Day of Christmas, the Paralympics gave to us... 6 amazing photos of British Para Ice Hockey player Mark Colquitt.
Mark visited us in the Summer and following a tour of the Heritage Centre led by our volunteers, he felt inspired to make a donation of his own, helping us to build up our collection of athlete stories. Mark's career is now rightly represented within our collection.
Para ice hockey has been held as part of the Winter @Paralympics since 1994, when it was known as ice sledge hockey. Athletes use double-blade sledges instead of skates and two sticks, due to lower limb impairment.
Mark was hit by a car aged 16 and lost part of his left leg. He's a seasoned defender who plays for Great Britain, and @MancMayhemPIHC previously playing with Sheffield @SteelkingsPIH.
Photographs like these, are not only very cool (excuse the pun) but showcase the growth in Winter Paralympic sports!
