Tree House School, Jaipur shut operations after taking the fee for the entire year. When parents complained, the school called the police.
Watch the video to see how cops behave. It could be you. It could be me.
This is life in north India.
We are aware that our @BankofIndia_IN has been providing Shelter Home facilities at Macropolo Building, Lalbaug, Mumbai, for employees and their kin who visit Mumbai for treatment of terminal illnesses, which required continous stay. This initiative has been a meaningful support system for families during extremely challenging times.
In the last Central Welfare Committee (CWC) Meeting, a proposal was put forward to expand this noble facility to additional locations so that more beneficiaries can be supported across regions.
We are pleased to inform you that, in line with the CWC’s proposal, the Bank has decided to extend Shelter Home facilities at the following locations:
1) An additional flat at Macropolo Building, Lalbaug, Mumbai
2) A flat at Nerul -Mumbai
3) A flat at STC Noida -Delhi
We understand that necessary formalities have been completed and the facilities are expected to become operational shortly.
Further, we are informed that properties at Vellore/Chennai and other important locations where people come for medical treatment are also being actively explored to widen the reach of this compassionate initiative in the near future.
Being a part of the Central Welfare Committee, @fboioa_india sincerely expresses our heartfelt gratitude to the Bank Management for their unconditional support and for the swift implementation of this important welfare proposal. *This initiative reflects the Bank’s continued commitment towards employee welfare beyond professional boundaries.
The article serves as a timely reminder that trust remains the cornerstone of banking. Sustainable growth must be anchored in ethical sales practices, transparent disclosures, and governance frameworks that balance business objectives with fiduciary responsibility. Thank you @TamalBandyo ji for bringing this critical issue to the forefront.

Longer hours do not mean better outcomes.
Exhausted employees don’t deliver innovation, efficiency, or customer trust.
Modern economies protect their workforce to strengthen institutions.
India’s banks deserve the same reform.

Five-Day Banking is a productivity reform, not a welfare measure. 📈🏦 Concentrated working days lead to sharper focus, better planning, and improved execution. 🎯💡 Globally, institutions that moved to 5-day workweeks report higher efficiency per employee. 📊🚀 Stronger productivity directly benefits banks’ balance sheets and service delivery. 💰🌟
Policy makers talk about productivity while forcing burnout on bank employees. Hypocrisy won’t run a modern economy. Act with responsibility. Approve the 5-day banking week.

Bankers are not machines.
We work extended hours, handle public pressure, & ever-increasing targets yet are denied a basic work-life balance.
When government offices, corporates & even regulators follow a 5-day week, forcing bankers into 6 days is sheer exploitation.
Banking is no longer a purely branch-based industry. With mobile & internet banking 24×7, employees shouldn’t be stuck in a 6-day legacy system. Time to modernize work culture.

Over 90% of banking transactions are now digital in major economies. With tech handling routine work, frontline staff deserve humane schedules. A 5-day workweek is practical and progressive.

India’s bankers demand dignity.Implement 5-Day Banking now.Productivity improves, service quality strengthens, and work–life balance becomes sustainable—burnout does not build nations. In modern economies, governments measure outcomes, not exhausted hours.
It’s time for real reform, not press releases.
