We understand that construction causes inconvenience. That's the price of development. But how long are citizens expected to keep paying it?
Pune's Metro Line 3 received safety clearance in July, yet commuters are still waiting.

The state invited PM Modi to inaugurate it, and PMRDA has been waiting for a date from the PMO. Now the election Model Code has pushed the launch further.

Meanwhile, we deal with blocked roads, diversions, relocated bus stops and years of construction.
University Chowk. Katraj. Hinjewadi. Every time, commuters adjust their lives around another project.
Development is necessary. But endless disruption cannot become the price of living in Pune.

If the infrastructure is ready, why should its opening depend on finding a date in one person's calendar?

We need deadlines, accountability and proper planning.

Pune needs the Metro. Pune doesn't need another inauguration ceremony to wait for.

It should have been inaugrated in March 2026, but as usual the delays keeps happening
