@unlearn16tweet@CuriosityonX Apparently wasn’t Zoroastrianism also not the first to introduce the concept of victory of good over evil? A recurring theme that then transcended to other beliefs as well.
@swanlinbar2023@unlearn16tweet@CuriosityonX Isn’t the name Hinduism i.e. Hindu a medieval central Asian Muslim construct to define the region after the river Sindhu ( H replaced S due to nuance in pronounciation). And sanatan dharm the other name for Hinduism is borrowed from Buddhist scriptures from 3 century BCE?
@avidandiya@Mamtasulaniya In UK as well. There’s nothing premium about it and freely available in all supermarkets at a nominal rate. We drink it regularly.
@ChandraKan51848@Paritolkks It has Aspartame in it which is a substitute for sugar. This chemical is carcinogenic in nature and should be avoided. The normal Coke is comparatively safer to consume
@theliverdoc I’ve been off alcohol for almost a decade now. Don’t feel the temptation and going by your post doc, I’m so glad I took that decision. Thanks for your posts
@amitkilhor The Nagasaki boy’s image is apparently one of the most tragic photos ever taken. It shows a 10 year old boy carrying his dead brother on his back in queue in a crematorium waiting for his brother’s turn. I believe it was taken by a US marine and it didn’t surface until 1989.
@Panjaab131313 He was family, married to my mum’s cousin. Funnily enough we were discussing old relatives last week. She recalled when he came to Amritsar (mid 60s), pretty much quarter of city turned up to see him. Personally it’s so refreshing to see a guy in turban although I never met him.
@BharatMoRA@sabeer Didnt the word Sanatan first occur in Buddhist scriptures? First used as Dhammo Sanatano in Dhammapad in 3 BCE? Will be good to get clarity on the origin of the word and the concept as a documented verse? Apparently Kashmir used to be the central hub of Buddhist theology.
@anshumansingh75@manaman_chhina We had a brown, the colour of chai and had an Andaman Nicobar no. Apparently bought from a relative who was an IAS posted there. Side gears and learnt driving in that https://t.co/XEi2i0kJ2n teacher was an ex farm help who was given a pagg as a gift for his teaching services
@windiescricket Well you win some and lose some. This WI side seems a lot better than the previous few teams. I really hope that they bring back the glory of yesteryears.
Well played , wishing you all the luck for future
@sophiegreenart Most spiritual leaders like these are charlatans and snake oil dealers . The real guys remain quiet and follow the light in solitude away from all the glamlights.
Follow and search your own peace, no one needs these intermediaries ,
@jpdeol My mum visited me in summers and she had such a big rant that I’ve been silently converting my house into a museum.
Seem like we got similar taste.
