@BigBearButt I had a similar experience in Tesco. Helped a little old lady reach something from a shelf and a few minutes later realised I knew her from way back and she was younger than me. Why do I still feel 35 in my head when my body is 70.
@Pelon66199@mdwfmom@KathleenLenkeit@MibshaD A child of two type O parents will always have type O blood, but the Rh factor can be positive or negative depending on the parents’ Rh genotypes.
@sharlleklerk@mdwfmom@MibshaD Because both parents are O which means child will be O therefore she knows what her babies blood type will be before it is born. It is only the rhesus part that can vary.
@WysteriaRozez@mdwfmom@PopTartsdSmores@MibshaD She is in fact right. A child of two type O parents will always have type O blood, but the Rh factor can be positive or negative depending on the parents’ Rh genotypes.
@EverythingTunde To all my UK friends you have to add two dress sizes to the US size for the equivalent UK size.
This means if you want to drop two dress sizes without dieting you only have to go to the US and hey presto. 🤣
@Badger007Honey@Mbakaza4L You think men tell you when you meet them that they are going to kill any children at a future date. FFS men hide what they are, then go off the deep end and do heinous things to their kids or wives because they don't have the emotional intelligence to temper their reactions.
@_ayandamay I have an android and I have the option to have it on "do not disturb" but can choose exceptions like alarms and specified calls. Doesn't Apple have that option?
@likesmokenoakum It doesn't matter where the cheese comes from as long as it is available for me to buy here in the UK. Best cheese: Cave aged Cheddar.
@end3of6days9 Doesn't everyone set up their home to work with their brain. A lot of hacks you read about are just normal stuff that most people do. The phone in the shower thing is unusual I would have thought. I have a triple waste bin. Plastic, tins, general waste all separate for recyling.
@DougWahl1 Plant a tree
Dedicate a bench
Paint a pebble
Hold a memorial
Run a race for a charity in their name
Sprinkle flowers on a river
Anything other than sending rubber up in the air to come down god knows where and could choke animals, pollute the ground and waterways.
@GirlGiada@marksandspencer Did you ask about the arrangement? Perhaps they had a reason for this. Sometimes re-arranging shelving elsewhere needs to utilise temporary space elsewhere or someone had the idea to try and sell more veggie products to meat eaters. Not all ideas are sensible. First world problem
@TedGrzelka Thank you. Sometimes you catch a moment without even realising it. That tree is probably one of the most photographed trees in Wales. It looks different in every photograph I have seen of it, depending on the season/lighting.
@Pragjag@anon_opin No, never expressed to the parent/s, that is where love comes in, you love them and never let them know it is breaking you slowly. Not often to anyone else either. You can read some of the judgmental comments on here.
@TCOMC_ED@anon_opin I try to move past that and focus on how she cared for me when I was young. All the good times, the sunny days, the times she was there for me when I needed her. I still miss her every day. But her last few years were hard on me. It is difficult to put them aside.
@Sometimes_Sybil@anon_opin I can understand that. We always feel we could have done more. I loved her but I too felt relief and guilt. I did my best for her but it was hard.
@anon_opin Nor the relief we feel when they pass. I cared for my elderly mother for 10 years, Covid took her in the end. I was lost in the caring and I missed just being her daughter. I loved her very much but in the moment of her passing I just felt relief, I could sleep once again.
@m8ss3ducti0n I honestly thought she had died. Amazing the punishment a body can take and keep going. The other end of the scale (excuse the pun) is the same. Incredibly obese people but their bodies keep going beyond all expectations.
