The title of the book was the WhatsApp group I used to keep close friends/family updated.
Last week we launched our "Living Collection" - It’s a simple idea, staff volunteer to be “human” books & other staff who work at the Trust come along to “borrow” a human book to “read”, which basically means having a conversation 👉 https://t.co/SFpkUZiXFY #LTHTrLivingCollection

20 yrs ago today marked Day 1 for me @LancsHospitals after spending the first 14 yrs of working life in banking. A lot has changed over that time. Grateful for the opportunity to work in the NHS, to support the learning and development

More needs to be done to support those who are living with Secondary Breast Cancer, to give them every opportunity to extend the time they have to live and to spend time and make memories with loved ones. #enhertuemergency

3 yrs ago I found a distinct lump in my right breast. In the month that followed I discovered this lump was a triple negative breast cancer which had already spread to the lymph nodes under my arm. 12 months of treatment was planned incl. 7 cycles of chemo, a lumpectomy &

social media is flooded with reminders for people to check their chests and breasts to catch any changes early. Last week marked #SecondaryBreastCancerAwareness day, a lingering fear for those who’ve had primary breast cancer and a reality that some are living.
